This is one of my all time favorites. Dark and gritty and Driscoll was a great villain! Definitely this is one of the more intense Magnum's ever. Probably one of the best Ice Pick appearance's ever as well! I liked his line in the hospital of "he hit one of my friends" meaning Magnum and not the ric...

A fun episode. I love how this episode features many of the major recurring characters interacting with one another - Tanaka, Carol, Doc Ibold, Kika - something rarely seen in the show. And another GREAT ending, with all the characters jumping off the top of a waterfall, one by one, with cash flyin...

It has been years since I had seen this episode and while it was not great it was better than I remembered. And Gordon was less annoying and more comical too. Not that I think he's a great character or anything, but I remember watching this the first time and hating it and I actually found him somew...

This is not a serious or memorable episode for season 6...but it's still enjoyable and interesting just the same. :) I love the cast of characters, the plot of a valuable Hawaiian statuette being stolen, someone murdered over it, then whodunit? Very Agatha Christie-ish! :D : Agreed! I liked the con...

I was intrigued with the beginning where Higgins was fired but his one was too unbelievable for me. Higgins being selected to be the "Chancelor" of some rebel army? Come on. Let's get back to the outstanding episodes of season 6. I can't say much for this episode!

Definitely a solid episode. A classic mystery for TM to solve, great underwater scenes, (wish they would have done more of this on the show!) and some funny scenes with TM and higgins in the library, first "hanging" the bull and then TM trashing the place and hiding. Loved it!

Interesting to see Magnum in uniform again...and gave us an idea of what he did for the Navy before retiring. However, I really don't care for episodes where Magnum has to spend his time trying to prove his own innocence for murder or a crime...I like him trying to help others with that instead. In...

I have always really liked this episode. Magnum onsite at a hotel after a cat burgler! The hotel manager was definitely annoying though lol. I liked the fact that TM was assessing his life and thinking it might be better to "move on" and get a real job but then decided to go back to being a private ...

A very surreal moment occurs near the end, as Ron Pennington Sr. (or rather, Bob Minor) literally returns from the grave to avenge his own death!! Hah ha ha! I'm so glad that others noticed this. I laughed so hard when I noticed Ron Pennington coming back from the dead to avenge his death. Di...

Even though a lot of the negative feedback regarding the flaws of this episode are true, I still find it pretty entertaining and enjoy it. Magnum as a cowboy just seems to fit, as Selleck is great in most of his Westerns as well! Season 6 episodes have definitely gotten away from the typical Magnum ...

I guess if I was looking for "serious" entertainment I wouldn't be watching 20 year old reruns of Magnum P.I. Hehe :D One of the great things about Magnum is that it will surprise you with the occasional "serious" theme, however - Personal loss, domestic violence, family issues, "Does the end justi...

You can talk about Waldo Norris or Basketball Willie or whoever you want, in my opinion he is the most annoying, worthless character to ever appear on Magnum. I SOOOO wanted Thomas to slug him when he had the boxing gloves on and was jabbing at him. But isn't that the point? We all want to smack th...

I really like Gwen Verdon as Magnum's mom...I thought she did a superb job in that role! However, I am not a fan of this episode! To me (somewhat like "Home From the Sea") it's very sad and depressing. :? All of my grandparents are now passed on as well...and I remember my grandfather's funeral. It...

A fun episode with a great climax. Two new indoor sets for Robin's Nest are seen - an upstairs room with a fireplace, and the laundry room. I love how the show sometimes surprises you with these new, or rarely seen, indoor sets for Robin's Nest. It feeds into the idea that the estate is really almo...

You are correct about Mr. Shelby's house Tralfaz, nice find! A few pictures: The features of the roof can be recognized in google earth here . http://magnum-mania.com/Misc/rubberchicken/forum/7562%237562_5.21_mr_shelby_home/1.jpg And Magnum walked around this area in The Sixth Position. What a plac...
