Re: On the Fly (7.15)

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Jim Bonnick (or however he spells his name).... I wish they'd have had a sequence where TC takes him into a room by himself, and work him over... then let Thomas take over, and finally Rick. If I had been Thomas, I'd have shoved him out of the plane from 2000 feet over the...

Re:

Watch the Federalie witch in the final scenes before Mac (Jim Bonnick, Joe Travis, Father Jim Hiller, Noel Thompson, Trany Oliva, or whatever the heck his name is) offs her. Her hair is suddenly teased and puffed out to the max. What a hag! This broad is a dog. Different tastes, I guess.. I thought...

Re: Kapu (7.10)

I loved this episode, and gave it a 10. If it was possible, I'd love to live in a place like Kapu, away from modern society and back to nature. As Mano said, no drugs, no crime, no tv, no electricity... etc. Now, I know that most modern folks will disagree with me, but I truly believe I was born in ...

Re: Novel Connection (7.9)

Yes, yes, yes... I so agree with so many of you about that witch Pamela... I wanted to rip her throat out several times during the two episodes. Actually, she looks like she could be the twin of one of the women in the community in which I live... I don't like that woman, either. Maybe the look alik...

Re:

Higgins is becoming my favorite character. I can see why Mr. Hillerman won an Emmy for the role. This passage through the entire series is finding me also looking at Higgins in a really positive way. While Magnum remains my favorite character (all four could really be called "the favorite"), there'...

Re: Paper War (7.8)

Well, y'all seem to have a better feeling about this episode than I do, but I still like it quite a bit... I gave it 8.5

It was nicely placed in sequence after the Lily episode, which was sooooooo serious and emotional.... they did well to lighten up for this show.

Re: Little Girl Who (7.7)

Well, this one brought out lots and lots of emotion in me... The older I get, the more sentimental and emotional I get. Hey, I still have tears in my eyes from this episode. Once again, Higgy shows great character and class, despite being so stuffy at times. The more I see of him, the more I respect...

MagnumsLeftShoulder wrote:One more thing that was a clue that Lily was Thomas's daughter was her middle name Catherine. That's TM's mother's name. Makes sense that Michelle would name her after her grandmother.
EXCELLENT observation! That makes a whole lot of sense to me.

And, I so agree with you about Higgy...

Re:

I just rewatched this episode. What a great well written and heart wrenching episode! At the end when Lilly runs back to TM, it kind of tore my heart out. I was a little PO'd when Michelle said "I could stay with you" or something like that, and they stare at each other for a moment, then say nothi...

Re:

I like this episode so much I bid on and won a script of it on eBay. It wasn't autographed or anything, but I still treasure it. It is interesting to read, because it wasn't the final script that they filmed for broadcast. It was fun to see how it differed from the way the episode was actually film...

Re: Death and Taxes (7.6)

I'm with all of you who think this was one of the better shows... I gave it a 9. A really heavy show like this was a nice change of pace, and very welcome. I also liked the different scenes from around the estate, seeing parts of it that weren't seen before. I got a bit disoriented when Magnum, Rick...

I love the way she promises not to pick an expensive restuarant. There's just something about the way she says it...anyway, yes, Maggie was very hot. :D Yes, yes... I sure agree with you about Maggie... As I saw her the various episodes, I always thought Magnum might eventually end up with her... a...

Re:

Spangler is obviously grateful that Magnum saved his life. After Magnum unties him, Magnum says "Just do me one favor Spangler." Spangler says "You saved my life, you name it." Magnum then says "Don't mention my name." Spangler looks up at Mangum very sincerely and says "You got my word on it Magnu...

Re: Straight and Narrow (7.4)

I liked Candy Clark in this one... and her sister, who played a great part in being exactly like Candy... The pimp was "the big flynn"... I wonder if the name was used in reference to the Flynn who was on the production staff. Yeah, had to laugh when Magnum got punched in the area of his left eye an...
