I loved "One West Waikiki"!! It was really good, and an early version of what "CSI" (2000-Present) and "Crossing Jordan" (2001-2007) eventually became. It was probably more like "Crossing Jordan" but it really tried to integrate the field of forensics into each episode. Set in tropical Hawaii, and s...

When I first heard of the "Five-0" remake...I was majorly skeptical. I love the original show, and almost all other remakes of older popular shows have failed (such as 2006's "Bionic Woman" and 2008's "Knight Rider"). But, this new version of "Hawaii Five-0" is absolutely SUPERB!!! I'll always love ...

Awesome Site and Aloha, Everybody!

I registered a couple days ago, as I heard about this site on another popular TV show fansite--MiamiViceOnline.com (Miami Vice Community). I loved both "Magnum" and "Miami Vice" growing up and I had to join this fansite too! I'm currently going through "Magnum, p.i." again, after several years, and ...

Even though the plot idea might sound ridiculous, I really liked this episode! But, I like spooky, ghost, haunted, curse type episodes of most shows. I like the idea of doing an episode about Hawaiian legends and a Kahuna's curse. I thought the episode was done perfectly for the subject matte...

I did spot a flub in this episode: At around the 37 minute mark, when Newton's henchman is driving away in the car, a member of the filming crew can be seen in the reflection of the car door Thanks to James for the credit. :) Do you mean towards the end...when Magnum makes Newton's goon drive away ...

This is one of the best episodes of the series...and possibly my all-time favorite! My "signature" here is even a quote from the episode. The plot and acting are superb by everyone!! The idea of having a real-life father and son, and mother and daughter portray each other in past and present setting...

^ ^ ummmmmmmmm have you seen how many 'screen used props' from Magnum PI are listed on eBay (or lots of other shows for that matter)? Don't want to put a downer on it for you, but there are hundreds all from the same seller(s) and the most obscure items eg. cigar dish, reading glasses, candle holde...

This episode is a little different, and I really like it! Once again the corruption and disorganization of the millitary comes into play...and I loved how Magnum handled it! I also enjoy seeing Rebecca Holden in something else besides "Knight Rider"...as this was about 3 years or so before she had h...

I don't have a picture but recently I purchased a faux coral choker/necklace on ebay, that was part of the "Magnum, p.i." wardrobe department! I have a COA to go with it. Whether or not Tom Selleck, or one of the other main stars, ever wore it on an episode or two...don't know or remember? It may ha...

Thanks, Styles Bitchley! I'm glad I found this site as I grew up with and love "Magnum, p.i."! :) Thank you for providing that link to the story on Magnum's shirt being stolen from the Hard Rock in Honolulu. It was awesome how that guy found it and then he had the honesty and and conscience to retur...

This is probably one of the worst, if not the worst, episodes of the series! :x I would rather watch "Thank Heaven For Little Girls and Big Ones Too" than this junk! The plot/script is beyond stupid and pathetic, and it was just too slap-stick comedy for "Magnum". The writers must have had a hangove...

I've been reading all the posts here, since I'm new, and I didn't know that one of the shirts was stolen before! :o That's terrible! :? Did they get it back? I'm sure there were many of the Jungle Bird shirts worn by Tom Selleck over the course of the show...I seriously doubt there was only 1 or 2! ...

I'm glad they did this episode when they did...as it's the first one after "Thank Heaven For Little Girls...and Big Ones Too." That one was really bad, so this ("Need To Know") was a good "save"! :) It got the show back on track. This is so typical and realistic for all law enforcement and/or millit...

I really liked this episode! The plot was awesome, and I liked "Magnum" because it many times had episodes that delt with WWII and/or Pearl Harbor. It had only been about 35 years since the end of WWII when "Magnum" started...so many of those who were in or involved with the war were still alive. Th...

This is one of the best and most superb episodes, not only in first season, but of the whole series too!! :D The plot, acting, action, suspense, cinematography, etc...captivates and intrigues you throughout the whole episode! But, I usually like hit-man, stalker, psycho-killer episodes of cop/crime/...
