Re: March Madness
Anyone but Kentucky and I would love to see Wisconsin vs. UCLA in the finals (I know, not a big college basketball expert here) On Wisconsin !!! Former Badger here (Seriously I played Ball for them in the late 80's ... Sadly mostly just riding the pine bench :-) Still a good excuse to break out my ...

Re: Your thoughts on this?
Ok so this might sound crazy but In the ultimate tribute to Magnum PI I was thinking about having the cross of lorraine on my headstone/plaque (although I'm not religious) - in the style of Magnum, PI The other alternative would be to be cremated and my ashes scattered off Pahonu. Just a thought - ...

Re: Newbie
Thanks to all you guys for your warm welcome ... I look forward to many M-PI discussions (a VERY under-rated show, in my opinion) - And I was serious about the show being "relaxing" to Vets, if you know of a guy or gal who has Served recently, let them know about the replays ... I sincerely believe ...

Re: Does Higgins Drink Beer?
Now that I think about it, there is an episode where Higgins does drink beer: Luther Gillis: File #001 (5.10) . When Luther and Higgins go into the Western bar, they both drink beer. Of course Higgins is under the guise of Elmo Ziller. As I recall he ordered, "Two brews ... One for himself, and his...

Re: Italian Ice (2.16)
Rating 8.5 [Very Good] There's plenty of anti-"Higgins-is-Robin-Masters" sentiment in Italian Ice, as Katrina tells the story of when a mere "servant" defeated both her father and Robin Masters at chess. This is the kind of rational stuff that puts to shame the last-second, "Wouldn't it be a great ...

Re: From the Enquirer: "TOM SELLECK’S MAGNUM RAGE"
I've only seen a couple of interviews with Tom Selleck; & financially, I'm sure he's doing fine - But I kind of got the feeling that the other cast members are not (he mentioned as much) ... I suspect this might be more of the reason for his "Magnum Rage," then his personal pride ... Besides, "Magnu...

Re: Top 10 all-time favourite episodes
Umm ... I'll post a full reply when I'm done re-watching ... But even though I was just a kid, "Did you see the sunrise ?" (the ending) still stands out in my mind, as one of the best TV drama moments ...

Re: Unfinished Business (8.8)
I just re-watched this very well done Episode - * But I have an (maybe) annoying ex-military observation - the "sound suppressor," Magnum uses would never work with a NATO 7.62 round - That said, a great Rifle choice ... "Buck" Greene (whom Magnum pinched the rifle from ) knew his firearms :-) ... R...

Luther H. Gillis - The best character actor on M-PI ?
Who doesn't love Luther ? AKA Eugene Roche ... But the Writers made (probably intentionally) a mistake in his time-line of events ... (Hint- It was when Higgins and Blanche were "tied up" together, & had to do with his partner "Chuckie" RIP) ... Anyway, a classic (my favorite) M-PI repeat character,...
