It's nice that you can enjoy the show. Have you seen it before, or are you just seeing it for the first time? Is it dubbed? Or sub-titled?

I think Magnum does have business cards. I have a recollection of seeing him hand one out, but I can't think which episode it may have been in. And it isn't a strong recollection, either, so I could be wrong. Whether or not my recollection is correct, I can't imagine that Magnum would not have sever...

Ooooh! These are FANTASTIC! What a wonderful way to start the new year! Thanks so much for posting. I probably will never get to Hawaii, but if I did, a Magnum tour would be exactly what I'd want to take, so this is marvelous!

Very interesting responses! Thank you for taking the time! It sure gives an interesting perspective on the MPI stories. Sounds like it was somewhat of a pressure cooker situation to get the episodes out the door.

Tres charmant!

In fact, I laughed my ass off!

I think that this should be moved to the main Magnum thread!

The real problem here is that there is absolutely NO CHEMISTRY between Magnum and Cynthia. I'm not saying anything against the actress Dana Delany, and both actors do a fine job in their roles, but the reason everything is flat is that there's not a spark of chemistry between them. I don't know what...

Highlander was a great series in the 1990's. Hey, I kind of liked that one, too. Recently I purchased several seasons and watched selected episodes. I found that they've held up well over the intervening decade. One of the things that I particularly noted this time around was the impressive use of ...

Oh, and for fans of Stephen J. Cannell, I've unearthed an interview with him from something called the "Archive of American Television". I haven't watched all of the interview, but it looks very lengthy, and each part has gotten high marks from viewers.

Oh boy, I did not like any of these series at all, except for Star Trek and S imon and Simon . AND, while I thought Simon and Simon was a likable show (especially in its first season) I would not put it in my top ten list. Even Magnum was not a preferred show for me at the time it originally aired, ...

Well, speaking as a Packer fan, I must say that we're absolutely stunned at the way they keep winning. This was not expected, and all of Wisconsin is waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You mean Clark's of England ? They're the ones who make the Wallabee and the Desert Trek. I've never taken a close look at Higgin's shoes, but it would be entirely in character for him to wear either the Wallabee or the Desert Trek. (It seems to me that it's part of the British expatriate standard c...

Okay, I hunted up some contact information. In the past, I would have said that snail mail is the most effective way to get your voices heard. The theory is that anyone who takes the time to hand write a letter gets more attention than a hundred emails. But...I found this message board for Journeyma...

All of those explanations sound good to me.

I agree that Mr. McShane is a fine actor, and looking at his IMDB credits, he has generally stayed employed throughout several decades, which is no small feat in that line of work. And perhaps he does owe most of it to his agent!

When I watched this episode, it made me wonder how on earth Ian McShane got a guest role. I mean, he's mostly a British actor, and until Deadwood, had not really seen him on the small screen in the States, and his biggest claim to fame would have been Lovejoy (a BBC series which was rerun on PBS and...
