Re: Oahu visit

Hi guys, well I'm finally going to Hawaii for my Magnum PI tour. A lifelong dream. something to tick off the bucket list :) I am off to Canada and NYC first and then to Maui and Oahu for a week. Can anyone recommend some must visit Magnum places? The tidal pool and Robin Masters Estate are a must, ...

Re: Looking for scene with Higgins

Hi all! I'm trying to locate the episode where Higgins delivers one of his best ever 'oh my god' lines. It's an episode where he's unloading a hefty garden/grass roller from the back of a truck, only to discover that he's accidentally rolled over a valuable pistol? Can't think which episode it is f...

Re: The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii (1.8)

I assumed he was just making stuff up to occupy these guys. Did he know they were from New York because Magnum mentioned it? The "mustache's" thick accent also could have tipped him off. hmmm hard to say. I don't think so. No one knew for sure that DiGiorgio was involved in the plan. And Rick recog...

On the Rick's van there is the same license plate briefly seen once on the Ferrari in the pilot movie http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz313/nuovoaccount2012/vlcsameplate01x01_zps5a370d90.jpg (Pilot movie) http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz313/nuovoaccount2012/10PaliHwytunnels_zps2883cdec.jpg W...

Hi Kalai-pahoa, """You can see here the original wall: http://macpro.buzznet.com/photos/archive/?id=884280""" That reminded me that I have a photo of the original wall. This was taken from Ala Monoa Blvd in 1988. Re: Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii (1) (1.1)

As for the license, I don't think we can call that a true flub. I always considered the Pilot a little different, even the Estate interiors were different. Well, I get your point but I think it'd be considered a flub because at the beginning of the episode, when TM drives through the gate, the lice...

Re: Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii (1) (1.1)

Watching and re-watching the pilot movie is ever a great pleasure. Absolutely one of the best episodes of the entire show. Full of most of the elements of the series. Everything is so exotic and cool: breaking into the estate to steal the Ferrari, Higgins and the lads, the wonderful Robin's guests, ...

Re: Re:

Ah, thanks. Saw something on TV some time ago and they wrote his name like: Sergio "Pinin" Farina, so it sounded like a nickname to me I think I read somewhere "pinin" is a diminutive meaning little or something like it. As in Spanish where "burro" means donkey and "burrito" means little donkey. Ma...

Re: Magnum actor suggestion

Well, first of all I want to say that I would like to see the original cast in the movie. Definitely. But I've to say that I have been very impressed by these pics of Joaquin Phoenix in "Her" movie. Impressive! What do you think about him? http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz313/nuovoaccount2012/he...

Hi and thank you for the welcome! :D The address of the "Villa" is 1610 Mokulua Dr., Kailua, which is the southern tip of Lanikai. If you type that address in Google maps it's the long property hugging the shore (circled on image below.) Unfortunately the 6 or so homes there are behind a security g...

Re: The Welcome Wagon

Do you know if Rubber Chicken is still interested in new locations for future updates? If so, I have the location of the Italian Villa at the beginning of Italian Ice. I stayed in a house by it a couple years ago and couldn't figure out why it seemed so familiar. Then I saw Italian Ice a few weeks ...
