Re: What to watch next

<snip> Funny, I had been watching Stacey David's Gearz and he's been building a Fall Guy truck replica, the The Doctor posts Fall Guy eps including the pilot - pretty cool. The Fall Guy was an '80s Classic. Best, To The Regiment Hi TTR I enjoyed The Fall Guy back in the day, and seeing the pilot ag...

Re: Big Jim Mclain

I have always enjoyed the lesser appreciated flicks like this one. The Wings of Eagles and The Quiet Man are a few of my favs too. I really enjoyed John on I Love Lucy - hilarious.

I hope all had a blessed time, it came at a cost.

Re: What to watch next

I know you wanted Magnum-esq suggestions but I have none. If you want something else The_Doctor_2099 @ Bitchute has a pretty eclectic selection. I don't think he has every episode but he has a wide variety... browsing the offerings... The Fall Guy, Community, The A-Team, The Return of Sherlock Holme...

<snip> If interested, check out all the audio options we have on the main page. Speaking of main page, is there a visible link from the forum to the main page? I have moused over every bit - I can't find one. I thought you used to be able to click the graphic at the top to go to magnum-mania.com, I...

Re: "feel/mood" of Magnum PI seasons?

I know that Donald Bellisario tended to write the more "important" episodes - often serious in tone and referencing TM's past. Episodes like the pilot, Memories are Forever, Did You See the Sunrise?, Home from the Sea, Skin Deep, Black on White, Lest We Forget, etc. His episodes are ALWAYS great an...

Re: Telephones used on the show

I love the old phones. My mom had me install a Crosley old school pay phone on her wall. I have no idea if this is anything more than an expensive piece of plastic but it is fun to play with people for the first time ( you get maybe 1 opportunity) - "yes the phone works but you need to drop a quarte...

Re: Hawaii in 1924

That was a very interesting video, really grabs my nostalgia bone, looking at "a day in the life" of folks living life so many years ago, sadly who are likely no longer here... the things they were going to accomplish are done and the time to do it has run out - I know, what a strange thing to say, ...

Re: "feel/mood" of Magnum PI seasons?

No doubt MPI had its stranger moments, wonder if there's any connection to these sorts of episodes and any particular writer(s)? Flashback and Murder by Night were both written by Robert Hamilton. Thanks for the info. I'm going to see if I can find other connections with my favorite episodes, maybe...

Re: Obscure Movie Recommendations

I'm really bummed, I had 4 or 5 Bitchute channels bookmarked that had some classic movies I enjoyed, sadly the channels have been pulled including the channel that had The Perfect Weapon. Sorry!!! :(
