Re: Ms. Jones (5.19)
I am one of the very few who grade this episode as one of the best. I like the recurring role of Ms Jones and how she frustrates Magnum...and we finally get to meet Ray. The AI thing didn't mean much back to the 1985 me, but today it is amazing how ahead of its time this episode was...at the end whe...

Re: Home From the Sea (4.1)
TM must have gotten an extension on his taxes, or he's way delinquent from the 15 April tax day deadline. I just watched Home from the Sea again on the 4th...tradition, I guess. It is a very good episode and one of my favorites, but it is not a good stand-alone episode. You have to have been a faith...

Re: Magnum and Burn Notice connection?
I tried watching Burn Notice...never could connect with the lead character though. I like Sharon Gless as his mom and Bruce Campbell. I would have rather seen Bruce play the role of Michael Westen...he's a much better actor. The other guy, not so much. I think he tried to be too perfect and Fiona ne...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Here are some of the picture I took...one shot over the wall you can see the main house is long gone. I wanted to see if there was any rubble left on the ground I could fit in my carry-on bag. As mentioned previously, I chickened out. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/6189/Cpxzsa.jpg The other ...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Those are cool pictures. I was there in 2019...the main house was already torn down and cleared out. Construction of the new home(s) had not started yet. I debated jumping the fence and trying to find a souvenir, but chickened out. I regret not doing it. I just wanted a tile or piece of the building...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
The shot of the guesthouse from the sea3 is great. Funny how it is too clean looking. I'm glad they didn't tear it down. It the gate house still standing? Those two buildings were all that was left when I went there in 2019.

Re: Computer Date (2.14)
I liked this one...gave it an 8.5. Lots of good Magnum PI stuff in it. The relationships between the 4 primary characters go a little deeper in depth, Magnum working Higgins into shape, Mac helping with a favor, etc. The ending was classic with Higgins lighting up after the introduction to Lady Pene...

Re: Sexism
I think they tried to make him a sex symbol and to some degree maybe he was, but I think the shows he was on were targeted towards a younger male audience and didn't get the exposure from the female audience.
He was big in Germany but I think it was for singing rather than acting.

Thanks. I like watching the show for details like that. My wife always asks me "Haven't you already seen this one?"

Re: Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii (2) (1.2)
Just watched this one again today...the main house had a lot of green in it. Green door and walls in Higgins' office and green tile floor in the kitchen I think with lots of tropical leaf wall paper. I assumed maybe it was the Anderson estate. A great episode with a young Judge Reinhold as Seaman Wo...

Pretty good post Paddy...I think I agree with you. Not sure about disowning the Navy...he still kept his things (commissioning certificate, t-shirts, hats, uniforms, bell, football helmet, etc.) and kept going back. Disillusioned maybe.

Re: Sexism
That is cool you worked on those shows. I bet you do have some stories. I think Baywatch was a family friendly show...pretty tame storylines and something for dad and the kids to enjoy.

Re: Sexism
I forgot about the Hoff! Sorry. After thinking about it some more, maybe A-Team and The Six Million Dollar Man or The Fall Guy have more in common. I think it was the comic book style...bloodless violence. But I have to confess I only watched Baywatch for the slow motion running parts...and never sa...
