The sand right outside the Hilton is not as fine as the rest of Waikiki. It's very gravelly which is strange. I've heard it's shipped there. When I stayed there in 2010, I noticed they combed the beach first thing in the morning. I don't think they do this in front of the Hilton. Could that make a ...

Visiting Stewardess wrote:The small print says you have to be a "HILTON HHONORS MEMBERS AT TIME OF ENTRY"... I guess that rules out most of us??
When I filled out the entry form, I also joined HHonors. They sent me a pin #, a member #, and thanked me for joining the sweepstakes.

As one of my t-shirts says, "I like two teams, the Red Sox and anyone who beats the Yankees." Go Tigers!
I wouldn't mind seeing Milwakee go all the way, either.

Just amazing photo's looks like you had a great time. Planning a trip now! When is the best time of year in Hawaii to visit or doesn't it matter? Weather-wise, it doesn't matter. My brother-in-law lived there for a few years while he was in the military. He got bored with it being perfect every day...

I started to get hungry when they were doing a stake-out at the Wailana Coffee House. I enjoyed all-you-can-eat pancakes with two eggs and bacon for under $6.00 a few times in that diner.

I only watched the pilot. I thought it was decent, but a bit too...GI Joe or something. Did the tone of the show evolve or change from the pilot? Very much so. There's still a military element to it since it's part of McGarrett's background. Now that I think of it, there's one other similarity to M...

As upset as this show seems to make you...I think it's definitely a good idea you don't watch anymore episodes. You can leave it for those who realize it's potential and how awesome it really is! Like Lily: Must admit the new 5-0 is one of the only shows I now watch on television. I find its fast m...

True, but the blueprint for the Seinfeld appartment is $20 cheaper than the Guest House.

J.J. Walters wrote:$69 for a guesthouse sketch?
It depends on the size. For example, the house used in The Cosby Show goes for twice as much.

I agree with everything MaiTaiMan said. It's been a long time since I made an effort to watch a t.v. show on a weekly basis. I stil don't save for a few shows (Hawaii 5-0, Covert Affairs, and Desperate Housewives). Everything else is either a "reality" show or a badly written show that focuses more ...
