Magnums furniture.

Does anyone know if that sofa and chairs were common at that time? And where can i find something like that?

I am really looking to find some similar set of furniture so i can get the right feeling while watching the show.

Maybe i should try and find a timemachine aswell heh.

Best string of episodes!

After revisiting the seventh season i have to say that Death and taxes, A little girl who followed by Paper war are the perfect string of episodes ever for Magnum P.I. So different to each other, yet so perfect for this series. What do you think? Maybe you have some other examples from this season o...

Re: Who is Don Luis Higgins? .... (6.19)

This is one of the best Higgins episodes of the series, and the best if we talk about halfbrother episodes 8) This season is to me maybe the weakest one, and this episode along with Way of the stalking horse and Deja vu really stands out. This one more of a comedy episode compared with the others of...

Re: Mad Dogs and Englishmen (6.14)

I think there are a lot of things in this episode that are great. Great acting. The surprise opening and Magnum and TCs investigation at the estate. It was also fun that the lads had a bigger part again. But that rushed end almost kills the whole episode for me. This reminded me why i never was a fa...

Re: Black on White (3.6)

Just watched this episode again, it is a very good one IMO, in short: They have managed to blend some of Higgins' history with a thrilling story and a twist. Also, locking TM and JQH in a room with TM behaving like a teenager puts the spotlight on their relationship. Rick and TC are doing a good jo...

Re: The Absolute Worst Episodes

Season 1-3. I never skip a single episode. Smaller than Life and Paradise blues were two weaker ones from season 4. Kiss of the sabre, The love-for-sale boat and A pretty good dancing chicken i tend to skip in season 5. Season 6. Weakest season by far. Round and around, Paniolo, Rapture, I never wan...

Re: The Absolute Worst Episodes

Back on topic. I don't have a "Worst" list. I tend to just rewatch the episodes that I know I like, so the bad ones kind of fade from my memory. Which is the best thing about episodic tv shows; bad episodes can be ignored without damaging the overall story. A few of the weaker episodes that do come...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)

Amazing 1080p HD Video of the Estate! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs65AP9osXk Great video! I would have liked to seen more close ups, but I assume there are privacy guidelines for drone filming. This sort of video (and this thread), however, underscores the obvious reason no wealthy person will...

Re: China Doll (1.3)

Hi guys! I just tried to watch a movie on youtube called Revenge of the Cheerleaders(1976), and i thought i recognized one asian cheerleader from Magnum P.I. And it was Susie Elene who plays Mai Ling. The movie wasn´t much to say the least but she and others were buttnaked(showing everything) in it ...

Which is why I dislike whenever politics ever gets involved in a thread... Serves no purpose whatsoever than to get everyone's knickers in a twist or get a rise out of people. I'm with LG.. Don't care what the affiliation is, if they do good work and are a good person, I respect that. RIP, James Ga...

Re: Serious Series DVD Discount?

That was really cheap. The sad thing with most tv series is really the lack of good special features. I am talking about audio commentary with the stars of course. But also interviews, and maybe some behind the scenes footage. We rarely see that. How difficult can it be to bring in Selleck and the o...

Planning a big win at the lottery this weekend. It´s a jackpot of around $21 million.

I´ll invite you all for a party a´la "The Case of the Red Faced Thespian".
