Speaking of Rosine, here's a screen grab of Elissa Dulce from "All Roads Lead to Floyd," (her first "Magnum" appearance) playing "Vicki." (Part of my "Magnum Yum!" collection.) She's not playing a waitress in this episode, but the more pictures of Elissa the better! http://img11.imageshack.us...

This waitress (Muwana??) from "J. 'Digger' Doyle" should certainly be a candidate! Although my heart will always belong to Rosine.

"Magnum P.I. Yum!"

I've started a thread called "Magnum P.I. Yum" at http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/ Go to the Message Board, then to the "Non-Film Score Discussion" forum to find it - I'm Broadway Mark there. It's a collection of screen grabs of the lady guest stars. I'm currently posting Season 1 shots. Check it ou...

If Wendy was 5 in 1958, that would make her 30 in "Distant Relative" (1983). But wasn't she closer to 20 in that?

Otherwise, very fine episode. Interesting how there's barely any dialogue or narration at all in the final few minutes.

James, I don't think "Flub #2" is a flub. Ms. Jones doesn't say she doesn't know HOW to play chess, only that she has never played it before. A significant difference! :o

We MUST have an audio file of the painter's "Whoa-oh-ohhh" in the last scene. Low humor, but I laugh myself silly at it! :P

This is kind of lame, but I have an "out" for the flub concerning guys in 1973 talking about the Lance White character: This scene was Tanaka's nightmare in which what actually happened in '73 got jumbled up with other things going on in his head. Perhaps he watched a rerun of one of the "Rockford F...

Rick seemed to really be off his game in this ep. How is it that a Bogart fanatic like he is does NOT know who Miles Archer is?

I just wanted to note that this ep. was co-written by Joe Gores, one of the most celebrated mystery/detective novelists of the last four decades. Currently, I'm reading his latest - "Spade and Archer" which is a prequel to Hammett's "The Maltese Falcon."

I noticed some references to the movie IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD - constantly figuring out how the money gets divided up, people standing around the hole as a couple of the "team" digs in it, and the bills of money floating through the air at the end.
