Thanks, Coops. I'll take a white one also.

As far as the green 308 goes, RJ was a PI wannabe therefore he was green. Magnum was mature therefore 'ripe' and drove a read 308...

Concerning the paniolo growers from this episode, I heard on the news today that doctors have issued new warnings about hootch. Apparently it really does do serious long term damage to the brain. They don't call it dope for nothing...

I think it would be cool just to get Manetti's take on life and career alone. Throw in some Magnum shenanigans and that would be icing on the cake! I need to order the book. Too bad Hillerman didn't write his memoires. Now, that would have been an interesting read. Journeyman actor with huge skills ...

Thanks, Sack. I had forgotten about this. This was a great episode. It dealt with the Vietnam aftermath, international intrigue, and old friendships... pretty much perfect. I like how the Mag helped Kate get her integrity back. Wow, imagine media people having integrity...those were the days!

Robspace, You nailed it. The time has passed and the ship has sailed. Universal missed a huge opportunity. The mid to late 90s would have been perfect for a movie. MPI was still huge in syndication at that time and the actors were still in great shape. Selleck is still in great shape and Mosley appe...

James, Another scene positioning flub. Similar to No More Mr. Nice Guy, the beginning has the guys using a baseball pitching machine with Magnum trying to hit the ball. The machine is lined up with its back toward the main estate house and you can see the wall on the road side of the property behind...

James Walters wrote, "Yeah, looks like a flub to me, too -- a very hard to spot, not easily noticed flub." James, I have watched this epi for years as it is one of my favorites. I never noticed the arrangement of the scene until recently. It makes me wonder how much more flub material awaits discove...

JH is one of my favorite actors of all time. He is a great artist. A much better actor than even TS...sorry, big guy! His work as Higgins was phenominal. Hats off to JH!

James, I believe I found another flub. You decide. In the beginning, TC runs to catch a pass from the Mag from the road side of the property toward the main entrance door of the estate house where the cars are parked. After they celebrate the catch, TC and Magnum line up to run another pattern facin...

Only,

I also believe the TV is an RCA XL 100. The reason I believe this is the fact that it looks exacltly like the old TV I used back during the 80s. Best wishes on your quest!

IH and all, I'm not sure the thing about Magnum telling Barbara that he was never married or engaged is a flub. He may not have wanted to get into it with that crazy woman. She was asking him the question and he just said, "no". I wasn't like he was giving a discourse and said that he had never been...

HB, I my town, there was a huge buzz about MPI. It was a cool show with adventure, humor, friendship, and irreverancy. Also, the new version of the theme song made for a huge buzz. Everyone in town watched the show. Another thing about MPI. The weather is awful in my hometown in the winter. Every Th...

Not a great episode but it is amusing. These rich people are seriously demented! Have they ever heard of volunteering to pass some time? Anyway, there is a flub. When Louise is on the beach and Magnum arrives to tell her to get lost, two masked thugs show up. One of them shoots through the windscree...
