Re:
This just goes to back up a post I made a few months back. There ARE NO new plots in episodic TV anymore! They've all been done and then some! If you've been watching TV for as long as I have, you've seen them all. (My first recollection of TV watching was "The Mickey Mouse Club" in the 1950's.) So...

A brief history of the Hawaiian shirt
I found this article in Smithsonian Magazine. I have never owned one, but am not opposed to owning one.

Re: A.A.P.I. (7.5)
One little thing that I found interesting involved Magnum's day dreams. At the beginning his office door read, Thomas Magnum Private Eye." That I found odd since Magnum is always telling people it is investigator, not eye. In a later day dream he is seen painting his door to read "private investigat...

Re: Deja Vu (1) (6.1)
I am surprised that nobody pointed this tidbit out: Higgins takes a call from Robin Masters when he is alone. If they are one in the same, what would the point of doing this be? Nobody is there to witness it. To fool himself?
Edit: this might have been in 6.2.

I saw this on another site with the headline, "Hall of Famer Al Kaline dead at 85. Career minor leaguer Ray O'Vac looks around nervously"

Re: Magnum coming to Charge!
Thanks. It is nice that they show the episodes both in the morning and in the evening to accommodate schedules (not that I have one now). Apparently this channel is available where I live but for a two reasons it would be easier for me to stream it.

Just one bit of trivia: The Midshipmen won that 1967 game 19-14 in Philadelphai, PA. Source: http://forwhattheygaveonsaturdayafternoon.com/wp-teams/football/army-navy-football Way to go, Magnum! I just looked that up out of boredom after watching this episode. Magnum's stats (3 TD) would fit into t...

Annie Potts playing Tracy Spencer
While only being in two episodes, 3.19 Legacy From a Friend and 7.5 A.A.P.I., Tracy Spencer was one of my favorite recurring characters. Perhaps this is because I found her sexy, but I think it is more than that. She was funny. Humor was a big part of Magnum, P.I. and Annie Potts contributed to that...

Re: Unfinished Business (8.8)
This was definitely one of my favorite episodes. "Laura" is my top episode and "Did you see the sunrise?" is number two (only because it was a two part show). It got very serious fast after the funny opening scene involving Magnum's grocery list. Magnum was presented with a moral dilemma and made th...

Re: The Chinese Typewriter
They’re actually in the LA area. The elevator they use to go to their place is the Hollywood High Tower Elevator. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/high-tower-elevator-hollywood The scenes in the motorhome were in the Hollywood Hills. The Spanish home that was the embassy is also there in the hil...

The Chinese Typewriter
This is a pilot for a TV show from 1979 starring Tom Selleck playing a private investigator in Oahu. Watching it I was mildly unsettled as it seemed so familiar, yet everything was off. I guess it seemed surreal to me like I was dreaming or had a fever. Some of the locations (including Robin's Nest)...
