Re: Any fans of HART TO HART here?

I’m not a huge fan, but found it enjoyable when I watched. That's pretty much my opinion of Hart to Hart. It's complete fluff, but sort of entertaining. I was watching it a few years ago, but it got too repetitive for me. I wouldn't put it anywhere near MPI in terms of quality, but I don't think MP...

Re: Your Favorite Christmas Movies and TV Episodes?

Anybody got any new suggestions for the Yuletide? I'm sort of burned out on the usual stuff.

Re: How many times have you watched the series?

I’m glad you are both aware of the paramedic act and describing it here.
I mostly know about it from the show. In watching old TV you'll see ambulances were basically hearses painted white before paramedics became a thing. It's a little creepy.

Re: How many times have you watched the series?

As for EMERGENCY! that's an even bigger puzzler for me. Apparently it has quite the fanbase. I just don't get it. EMERGENCY! pretty much was Jack Webb's propaganda in support of the Wedworth-Townsend Paramedic Act in California. LA was one of the first places in the country to allow ambulance crews...

Re: Rest in Peace Roger E. Mosley

I'd even say that TC was Higgins' favorite out of the three lol.
I kinda always thought that too! The Higgy Baby and TC relationship was different than the others.

Re: Wave Goodbye (2.8)

I watched this one a couple of days ago and I had forgotten how good it is; so I rated it a 9. That's probably a little generous, but Sunday night I was trying to pick out a random episode to watch that I couldn't remember much about and this one hit the spot! As for the shirtless scene......well th...

Re: Rest in Peace, Her Majesty the Queen

I'd bet the production staff probably didn't know that wasn't the queen. I had always assumed the portrait was of Queen Elizabeth. Somebody had to know that wasn't the Queen! Maybe they couldn't find one from the right era that would fit the space and decided to use Mum's portrait hoping nobody wou...

Re: The Donald P. Bellisario Thread

With JAG it was all kinds of military and judicial internal wranglings. It's not a police procedural and that's why I prefer it. There could be a lot more variety to the stories. Some episodes were courtroom drama, some were action, some were adventure, some were war/combat stories, and they even w...

Re: The Donald P. Bellisario Thread

JAG is the second best show DPB made. It's much, much better than NCIS and if you watch it from the beginning, it's not boring at all.

Re: The Donald P. Bellisario Thread

But I'm curious - any MPI fans here also QUANTUM LEAP fans? I was hooked from the pilot (I was 12) and I never missed it back in the day. NBC constantly bounced it around the schedule so it was hard to "never miss." I still think it's a fun show, but it suffers from only having two regular characte...

Re: Rest in Peace Roger E. Mosley

TC was always my second favorite character on the show. It's sad to know he's gone. I dunno... John Hillerman starred in quite a few classic 70s films. BLAZING SADDLES and CHINATOWN immediately come to mind. But wasn't he also in PAPER MOON Yes Hillerman played a sheriff in Paper Moon and he got to ...

Orson Welles Marathon

It's late to be posting this, but TCM has an Orson Welles marathon today (Aug 5) as part of their Summer Under the Stars lineup.

Oliver Wendell Douglas was the true crazy in that show.
I would agree, but everybody knows Arnold was the smart one.

Re: Kathleen Nolan

One thing I noticed about Nolan is that she has this "little girl voice" on the show which I thought was cute.
I kind of liked the Real McCoys, but her voice/accent drove me crazy! I could never like her in anything else because of it.
