Blue Bloods has continued to perform well for CBS, so now they've decided to move it to Wednesday nights for a few weeks.

When it ran on American Life about 2 years ago, I am sure they used the original music. I think the rights only applied to the video release. Yes, for the most part, syndication usually contains the original music. I think there have been a few different cuts over the years which have resulted in c...

I've been revisiting season five and found this one to be better than I remembered. Tonally, it kind've reminds me of a companion episode to 'Fragments'. It also includes a good example of something TS mentioned in a recent Parade Magazine interview : The fact that Magnum often tried to avoid fights...

And the Daughters of Satan clips! LOL! Now I don't feel so bad for missing the airing a couple weeks ago! I've seen all I need to see. ;) You can actually watch the entire film online- should you ever feel the need. http://www.hulu.com/watch/14178/daughters-of-satan Gotta love those opening c...

For me it's always been the scene in "Limbo" where Magnum takes one last flight with T.C. It's such an honest moment of friendship, as T.C. attempts to deal with the loss in his own way and Magnum just gives him that little smile of understanding.

I'm sure this show is not cheap to produce, so even a modest dip in ratings could spell doom. The bar is very low on Friday nights, so I think Blue Bloods could be around for a while. NBC has already had to cancel Jimmy Smits' Outlaw, since it was getting killed at 10pm by CBS. I agree about "the w...

I had a feeling TS wouldn't have much to do, despite being the main draw for most viewers. His performance isn't as gloomy as Jesse Stone, but I wish he could find some way to inject a tiny bit of the playfulness that made Magnum so much fun to watch. It's slightly ironic that his recent career has ...

This may have already been mentioned here, but Turner Classic Movies will be airing Daughters of Satan tonight at 4:00am. (Well, technically, tomorrow morning!) Meanwhile, in case anyone missed it, Terminal Island was recently given a spiffy new treatment on dvd . Who says Selleck didn't have a thri...

I have doubts about the success of "Blue Bloods" from what I've seen of the promos for that. Unless it has EXCELLENT writing and top-notch plots, it's going to bomb. I HOPE it works, as I'd love to see TS around on a weekly basis. But I'm not sure this is the right "vehicle." I just hope it surpris...

Wow, Len Cariou is the grandfather? He is only six years older than Selleck! I guess he does look a bit older than Selleck though. With makeup and whatnot, I can see them pulling it off. It reminds me of Sean Connery playing Harrison Ford's dad in Indy 3- despite the fact that he was only 12 years ...

I always thought Mel Gibson would've been a great Hannibal- assuming they had gone the "all-star cast" route that was rumored for years. He would've been ideally suited for the cigar-chomping, Bugs Bunny aspect of the character. Jim Carrey was usually tipped as the obvious choice for Murdock, but I ...

HowBut, gosh, I hope he's a little more Magnumesque and not Jesse-esque. Even his character on Las Vegas was rather dour and downbeat. I'd like to see a character we can laugh WITH, at least occasionally! Good point! I recently started watching reruns of "Nash Bridges"- Don Johnson's cop show from ...

Someone said TS is in Halifax shooting the next one right now. Has anyone seen or heard this? I believe that's where he was shooting Jesse Stone 7, Innocents Lost , a few months ago. It's been finished for some time now. As for TS starting another one, I think he's still in the writing phase. Durin...

This one did seem unusually downbeat- especially for the first half hour or so. (I appreciated the recurring "Don't give this number to anybody" joke, which struck me as being a little Magnum-esque.) It was nice to see both storylines treated as mysteries, with Jesse even going into full-blown Sherl...

Ah yes, the early 80s ninja craze. There was actually a store at my local small that specialized in ninja weaponry and Sho Kosugi posters. There was also a 1980 Chuck Norris film called The Octagon which helped usher the whole fad in. It didn't have the impact of Enter The Ninja , but it got the bal...
