I'm not quite sure if Magnum's actually wearing a genuine G-1 ... the pocket flaps on the G-1 tend to be cut off straight and fastened with a more or less massive button. Also, there is some leather under the zip (probably protecting the garments you wear underneath from your chest down) that you do...

Without Tom Selleck, this is going to be heading the way of that infamous Miami Vice movie. Neglected by or - even worse - disappointing interested loyal followers, basically unable to be a movie in its own right (it it were that it would not need to draw on the famous show), doomed.

Come to think of it, that twist of fate sure also didn't exactly help improving his Frank's relation to his step son - his own son dying in VietNam, and troublesome Tommy 'getting away' ... Must have been hard on him.

Sure Tommy didn't survive to be a world class private investigator? After all, it is Joey's name we see on the Memorial... Parallel worlds...
But another episode or two referring to him certainly would have been great, I fully agree.

Because Peterson, PI would have made for a very alliterative title for the show?
Because young Thomas was very attached to his daddy and had a sense of family?
Because he never really liked Frank too much?
We'll probably never know...

Fully agree with the face man - have been following the site for awhile and bookmarked it to my computer - always something interesting in it to browse.

Early 40s still does it for me too ... turning 43 in a week or so.
