Re: Memories Are Forever (1) (2.5)

A few thoughts: After Thomas throws the film in the ocean, what does he tell the client? Presumably he tells her he didn't find anything. But since that is a lie...does he take the fee, or does he just tell he's off the case and doesn't charge her anything? Curious what we all think TM would do. Or,...

And further: are we supposed to believe the Hawaiians are happy because the professor's theory was proven wrong? It seems a stretch to infer that Keone had briefed them so well that they were able immediately realize the import of the find, before it's even dry? It seems to me their more likely reac...

Re: Dead Man's Channel (2.2)

There was a question earlier on whether it was a flub that the boat seen in the opening is clearly a different boat from the one that is ransacked later. I don't think it's a flub, Marion's father clearly had two boats. One was a larger vessel that he lived in, the other one was for trips where a sm...

Re: Billy Joe Bob (2.1)

The idea that he could hot wire and fly TC's chopper, not being an experienced chopper pilot, is absolutely preposterous. They work it in, about the same time as he steals the chopper, that he flew "just about anything" back in Texas. (Kind of like Luke Sywalker.) Carol Ann says it after she re-app...

Re: From Moscow to Maui (2.4)

The Episode Guide says that this is the first episode that "directly indicates" that Magnum was a SEAL. I didn't catch that. Does anyone have any details on what was said and/or a timestamp? The uniforms that the Soviet athletes were wearing were hilarious. This wasn't too long before the 84 games, ...

Re: What programs do you use for screen captures?

Thanks for the tip. I also have VLC and had used that feature before, but the caps I got were blurry. Thinking more on it now, it's not due to any failure in the capture function, the frame itself must have been blurry due to motion on the screen and the frame rate (24 fps?). I played around with it...

What programs do you use for screen captures?

Hi everyone,

I'm working my way through the series again (watched Woman on the Beach yesterday) and as I go, I'd like to make some screen captures of memorable scenes, etc. What's the best program to use to get good quality screen caps?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Jay Hernandez is only 5'9"

Just looked up the "new Magnum" and I see he is only 5'9".

That's a solid 7" deficit. He's going to have to work really hard to make up that gap. But at least they won't have to modify the Ferrari for him.

Let's just say...I have my doubts.
