I have always liked Rick and never saw him as crooked. He is so naive, I just can't wrap my mind around him being any kind of a gangster.

Claims of ownership of anything on this show has always been really murky. Magnum always says...my car, my camera. Higgins says...my den, my cars.

My kids are just now finding out who Magnum is. My son loves to watch the show, but I think he is more interested in the chopper and the Ferrari than he is any of the story lines.

In The Big Blow, when Wanda and Rollie come into the house, Magnum asks them if they would like something to drink. Wanda orders a Mai Tai and I can't really understand what Rollie is ordering. All I can say is Magnum was a real jerk in this episode. Why couldn't he just mind his own business and give Higgins his privacy?

Do you find it strange that Magnum can tail so many people in that red Ferrari and never be seen, even when he is sitting right outside someone's home, where when the person leaves, they pass right by him?

What was the significance of Jessica Fletcher commenting on Amy's ring and then Amy saying it wasn't real? I never understood why that was put into the story line.

I loved Simon & Simon. I never missed an episode. Those brothers were great together. I liked how Rick was supposed to pay the bills in the months without an R, and still couldn't manage to do it.
