This is a 9.5 for me. I loved the opening scene with Magnum in the wrecked Ferrari. This builds up the suspense from the first 30 seconds. Interesting how TC stopped Rick from smoking in the hospital at a time when it was still quite normal in real life for people to smoke, especially in situations ...

I quite like this episode too and gave it a rating of 9. I yet have to award the highest score to an episode. I liked the goat scenes with Higgins ("I give up the tennis courts" - "But you don't have the tennis courts") and the diving scenes were pretty neat, with all the exotic fish floating about ...

Interesting! I had never seen the "father-son relationship" before, just ex-soldiers bonding. But now that you mention it...

I love reading the posts in this forum. They give so much insight into the series. Things that one had never considered before suddenly become obvious!

Haha, funny. I have actually worked at an airline once, but not as a stewardess. I was in the press office briefly after leaving journalism... so I moved to the dark side.

Just watched an episode of Starsky & Hutch (The Set Up, Pt. 2), ca. 1976/77, where he plays The Black Baron, funnily another pilot!! Not a helicopter this time but an old propeller plane. Very funny. He's got an interesting duffel bag too, which saves the day; it contains 4 machine guns, various gre...

After university I was in financial journalism. I liked journalism, but the finance was boring me. I ended up being a mortgage specialist, even though I knew nothing about mortgages when I started out. After that I moved into fashion journalism. I really thought I had found my calling, until I found...

Haha! Not very likely!
Amazing that you noticed!!!! I don't think they cut the fence out for reasons of recognising the estate to be honest. I think it was more an aesthetic decision.

Haha, I only post my training results on FB if they are good... But I also don't want to bore people with too much training information. @ Dan: I run about 50km/30mi a week 6-3 weeks before a marathon. The 2 weeks before I do a half in one day and then do a few more short runs (1.5 hours). I don't r...

Yeah, I see the problem... I don't really want training to ruin my social life (although social life has, during training season) shifted to socialising with other people training. That makes the not drinking (or drinking only very little) alcohol a lot easier. Triathlons are in another league. You ...
