If Selleck really wanted to do the movie himself I'm sure he could get the funding to do it, and they would probably make money at it, too! For him, there would be the added benefit that many of his friends from Magnum would get something from it as well. Remember, the main reason he did the eighth ...

Actually, if you look at the first few episodes that she was in on MPI, you can see her going gray already. Late season 5 or season 6, you can tell she was dying it as the gray is completely gone. I noticed that myself! She must have gotten even more gray in the interim, so they asked her to dye it.

I sent an email earlier to superstationwgn@tribune.com to find out if it is a temporary or permanent change. Here is their reply: Unfortunately, our licensing agreement with the distributor of “Magnum, P.I.” has expired. Thanks for writing and watching. George Yeah, so why don't you renew it? What ...

We should all email them to show our dissapointment with their apparent decision.

I also just found out recently that the actor playing Marcus, Magnum's volleyball partner who gets killed, is none other than Sinjin Smith! Sinjin will later become one of the biggest names in (beach) volleyball! In the episode, he is credited as St. John Smith, which threw me off. Note the credits...

I was able to get one, used, on eBay, so it's "broken in," but it's a XL, and it's WAY too big for my 5'3" 115 lb. frame. I look like I'm wearing Omar-the-Tent-Maker's Hawaiian Magnum tent. Let me know if you're interested in it. If I could get $25 for it, then I would have at least half the funds ...

Re: Acknowledgements - Sleuth Channel

I don't think Superstation WGN is currently airing Magnum, I guess it runs in cycles? WGN has been running MPI for at least two years at 10:00AM Eastern Time. At one point, they were running it twice a day, at 10:00AM and 12:00PM (noon). Until today, that is... it appears to have been replaced in t...

Magnum, P.I. dropped from WGN lineup?

Please, say it isn't so! Starting tomorrow, they are showing Nash Bridges in place of MPI at 10:00AM EDT.

Does anyone know any more about this? Did I miss a pre-announcement about it?

I doubt if they could get Palin to do it, but the rest of them would be great!

The episode was on WGN this morning, but the bloopers were not part of it. They just had a few stills from the show behind the credits, as usual.

Hey, how do we know that the guy who was impersonating Inspector Stokesay is actually Duncan Scott? Is the explanation for this something that is left out of the syndicated version of the episode? Also, what happens to TC? Does he stay in Morocco for a while, continue on to London, or return to Hawa...

The second half of this episode drags a bit a times... Funny, I didn't think the second half was any worse than the second half in this regard. In fact, I rather liked this episode, and, if I had to choose, the second half is my favorite of the two, partly for the reasons you mentioned. BTW, a piec...

There is a pretty good laughing scene (Magnum only) in Mr. White Death when Earl (Ernest Borgnine) remembers Higgins as "Punky".

Possible flub or continuity error

As you state on the page for this episode, James, this is the first of three appearances of Margie Impert as Ms. Jones, the records clerk. If memory serves, we learn in Ms. Jones that her first name is Madeline. Well, in this episode she has a nameplate sitting on the desk in front of her at the hal...
