SelleckLover, I am truly not trying to beat a dead horse here, but Jesse was hired because he WAS drunk at his interview for the position of police chief because the town council was so corrupt, they WANTED an incompetent to be in the position and THAT's why they hired who they thought was a drunk. ...

No, I'm saying shipping to/from either UK or Canada is expensive. I would think shipping tofrom Canada to/from US would be cheaper than shipping to/from UK, but it's about the same. Canada might be a little cheaper and possibly slightly quicker. But both are expensive and take a lot of time. Did I s...

It got no bids, so it ended without being purchased at $4.99 plus $3.22 shipping. But it IS scratched. However, it has been relisted at only $2.99 with the same shipping cost. Those are "American" dollars. So the $8 American would be about 4 British pounds, or 6+ Canadian dollars, roughly. But shipp...

Biography and Conan

I TiVo'ed the Biography of Selleck this morning if anyone missed it and wants it. I'll try to figure out how to get it from my DVR to my computer! I really enjoyed watching the youtube video of Tom and Conan, but I got SO annoyed at Conan. He asks a question and then he answers it, talking all over ...

Night Passage and Death in Paradise

For those of you who haven't seen the two "middle" Jesse Stone movies, if you want to save a little money and not spend $20+ to buy them, Blockbuster online has them. I was in Blockbuster to pick up a movie with a coupon for a free one, and the clerk asked if I wanted to sign up with Blockbuster onl...

I emailed the eBay seller of CS and GC, asking him if he had Forbidden Island. He responded that he is aware of five (!!) unfilmed Magnum scripts but that Forbidden Island isn't one of the ones he knows about. He said he didn't recognize that name. I need to send him the link I found, don't I? I pro...

watchin' your back

I'm going to jump off the deep end a little bit here, and go for the unchosen one -- Rick. My reasoning? Even though I still think Larry Manetti can't act his way out of a paper bag, he was the one with the physical ability/agility/skill to be there for ya. TC had the helicopter, but he also had a b...

Trips to Hawaii

We have gone five times since 2002 -- Kauai twice, Maui once, Big Island twice. Our most recent travel blog for our trip just six weeks ago can be found at: Big Island April 2007 Since we spent virtually no time on Oahu on any trip, we didn't see any Magnum sites. If anyone wants any details, I can ...

scenery

RC, I HAVE the Google Earth scenery in my FS. That's what's messing up my "construction" of the estate. The buildings I have available to place are not the same scale as the actual buildings on the estate. Yes, it's pleasurably visible flying over it -- but remember it's 2D straight-down photography...

North Korea

RC,

I just found the same thing and was about to post it! Though it STILl doesn't say from whom they were purchased in the "circumventing" deal. Academic, at this point, I suppose . . . .

back to scenery discussions -- more later.

rubberchicken, First of all, WHAT were you doing "wandering around" globalsecurity.org? Are you secretly CIA or something? Secondly, the inventory list on that page shows ANOTHER 27 MD500s for use (apparently) other than "attack." Thirdly, what I find most interesting is that all of their othe...
