Question regarding the black metal box Higgins opens in the study. He pulls out a few items and lays them on the table before the flashback scene to his roadside meeting with the Duchess. After the flashback he places the newspaper clipping next to a German SS lapel and knife. I realize many collect...

When Magnum returns to the bar to figure out where Buck might be take note of the actions of the bartender. He gives Magnum a Bazooka and then starts clearing the spilled chips off of the bar top. He brushes the chip debris into the chip bowl with his hand and then places the bowl right back onto th...

I'm not sure why I found this so funny but Magnum loans Billy Joe Bob his patent Hawaiian shirt when the two of them "switch roles" to find out information on Carol-Ann from the prostitutes at the gentlemen's club. I often thought about getting one of the Magnum Hawaiian shirts but I think I'm more ...

Larry's "Aloha Magnum" is available again... I got 7 copies at $20 per copy. He signed every one and was kind enough to write me a thank-you email for making the purchases. Not sure how many are still available but it appears you can still get them via the LarryManetti.com website. :D

If you want a Magnum / Hawaii Five-0 experience you pretty much have to stay on Oahu... but Waikiki is just too slammed with tourists, we stay at Turtle Bay, which is expensive but away from downtown traffic and whatnot. You have to swim over to the Robin's Nest for sure! See this site for direction...

Opening Scene - "Century City"

You are very correct, the opening scene is Century City in Los Angeles. More on this if anyone is interested... I used bank at The Bank of America located at Century Plaza there back in the 1980's, probably around the time this was filmed. You had to slalom through 100's of yuppies chatting on their...

Great Scenery

I really like this episode as it gives yet another great tour of so many familiar places on the island. The scenery is great in many or most of the episodes but seeing typical downtown traffic before and during the bus ride is classic! Anyone who has ever been a tourist in Oahu knows what a crowded ...
