Re: Is Jonathan Higgins Robin Masters?

I'd like to think there is a Robin, but why in all the years has he never shown up at the 'Estate', and if not revealing himself publicly at least connecting with his two must trusted confidentes ?

So you've discovered the cure for the common cold:

Take 7eps of MPI and call me in the morning.

I think the theme fits with nothing else. Only one image for me, and that's the original show. I loved it when the Dave Clark Five told Glad Garbage bags to get stuffed (pun intended) and couldn't use their song. Alas along came Michael Jackson and Pepsi commercials.... the rest is history, even Zep...

I watched it as well last night. Can't help but think of Higgins' matchsticks when I view the bridge.

Interesting thread Little Garwood. We share a love of the same two shows. I'll go out on a limb and confess on here that I actually like the early Five-O years over MPI. I agree as already mentioned that McGarrett would have had a run-in with Magnum, but respect likely developed over time. I think e...

... but they may have had multiple guns (one or more with the half-shelf thumb safety and one or more with the stock full-shelf safety) and used them randomly throughout the series: I agree that there were multiple guns that were in fact used in sequencial scenes creating continuity errors (just li...

What! A good old fashioned day game?? I thought that wasn't allowed because of network ratings.

Re: Magnum Blu-Ray

While watching I realized how much color and sharpness is missing from the series. While it still is an excellent show, the flaws in production of the DVD/film transfer really show through. I'm glad you posted that. I was wondering if I was the only one on here that thought the DVDs are not perfect...

Interesting little MPI / Hawaii Five-0 touchpoint

I just watched The Last Page (2.20). There is another connection to the Five-0 world on this episode besides Kam Fong (Chin Ho on Five-0). The Wo Fat restaurent is shown clearly. The name of this restaurent was the inspiration for the most famous villain on Five-0, Wo Fat. He was in the 2 hr. pilot ...

Well Styles, we're not all as anti-gun as Michael Moore or the Liberal politicians would like everyone else in the world to believe. I think the fact that your adopted country of Switzerland has never been invaded and has low inicidence of gun violence might have something to do with the fact...

To make an automatic or semi-auto blankfire, you need to screw a plug into the end of the barrel with an orifice to allow some gas to escape, while still restricting enough backpressure to cycle the action. It's likely that more blankfire 9mms pistols were available, and I think it's easier to get r...

I've been using screenprints pasted into bmp images for all my images posted on this site with no problem and I have Vista. GMT Master, make sure you open the new bitmap in edit mode to do the paste.

However I tried snipping just now and it's a lot faster. Thanks James.

With the cold war over, maybe Magnum reunited with the Russian agent from Texas Lightning. Da, it's possible, but I think Magnum's a bachelor for life.

Great episode. 9.5 for me. As solid as it gets. This to me is pure classic MPI. Guns, babes, nasty villians, chopper dogfights, commie threats, the boys banding together.... Magnum bringing down the other chopper with one lucky shot from a flare gun, while the opponent has gone through about 8 mags ...
