Not a chance. All eight seasons have been released onto DVD and Universal doesn't seem to be interested in special features on DVD's other than ones that plug their own TV series and films.

That clip compilation was taken from an outtake program because you can clearly hear laughter in the clip from a studio audience. As for the episodes that they were taken from I'm sure that somebody here would know.

I found it curious that the natives who chase Magnum and co. in this episode always seem to have sparkling clean yellow outfits. They live in the wild and, although they obviously wash their clothes it seems that they have access to some kind of detergent in order to get their clothes so clean.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be a PI. Sometimes it can get a bit too risky especially when you've got somebody out for revenge on your tail. Although Magnum was only a TV series it did deal with some of the more dangerous aspects of being a PI.

Some of them are very nice indeed.

Hillerman's portrayal of Higgins Irish half-brother is probably one of the best roles he has played in Magnum other than his main role as Higgins. The character may be a stereo-typical Irishman but it is the best of his 'other' roles in the series.

A nice episode and one I watched first time around as a bonus episode on the season 4 boxset. I enjoy all of the episodes where John Hillerman plays multiple roles. It shows him to be a great actor with the ability to even put on suitable accents for the characters he portrays.

It would be interesting to have a British guy to play a British character but I'm not sure who would be ideal. Either way he wouldn't be able to emulate Hillerman's portrayal of the character.

I only have a goatee beard but my mustache doesn't look anything like that of Magnum's. A person at work however has a mustache that looks so much like TM's that people have nicknamed him Magnum before in the past!

I don't mind the original theme tune. It doesn't quite fit the style of the show in my opinion but it is a good one nonetheless.
