For me, I think Magnum "jumped the shark" when Higgins left the estate to become the leader of some militia group in Season 6; Mad Dogs and Englishmen...glad the writers got back on track after that turd. That episode was absurd.

Just saw George Maharis passed away at 94 earlier this week. He played Buz Murdock on Route 66 along side of Martin Milner.

I saw a commercial for a new "CBS Original" show MATLOCK starring Cathy Bates. I never watched Andy Griffith's Matlock, but again, another iconic character reimagined...the Hollywood writers are currently on strike, but it should be the audience as they have nothing original to offer.
