The most disheartening things about season 8 were Magnum's increasing responsibility, and the terrible decline in his wardrobe. Like they wanted to make him a grandpa all of the sudden. Yeesh. TM deserves better!

1-4 as well. The look of the show, TM's more relaxed, anti-authoritarian persona, prettier girls, less kowtowing to the Carol Burnett demographic, all are a few of many reasons I like better.

It's so frustrating that we'll never see the proper ending that Magnum deserves, especially since Magnum was such a great show for continuity and creating a large web of stories, experiences, and themes.

Rewatched this, thought iwas just so-so. A pla imitation of Home from the Sea. This and Murder by Night and the Death of the Flowers are the weakest for season 7 thus far.
