HAH! that episode was just broadcast on WGN this morning. I stopped watching Magnum somewhere in about the 5th season, so I had never seen this episode. It had me giggling all the way through. What a treat it is to see Magnum episodes for the first time ever. I can see why people say that the sevent...

To answer your other question, there was no particular fashion or fad that I can recall that required use of both suspenders and a belt. I don't even recall that suspenders were any particular fad, but wearing them wouldn't have caused comment. If your slacks were too short, or you wore white socks ...

Sometimes it's painfully obvious, but for some reason, we let them get away with it. Like the obvious stunt people, the show has it's own charms... Well, back in the day, TV productions were cheap cheap cheap. At the time, most viewers wouldn't have thought twice about seeing stock footage inserted...

My sister went to see the Miami Vice movie and came away so disappointed that I decided to skip it altogether. She didn't have any problems with the new cast or the story, but missed what she felt were the essential elements of the original show, which in her mind was the bright sunshine and pastels...

As the female of the species, I cannot help but point out that Magnum looks SUPER decked out in British tweeds. Heh. I wish this two part episode had done more with TC's side trip, which I thought seemed a little more interesting than chasing Magnum all over London. Still, I liked how Magnum's sixth...

I saw this episode recently and it packs a surprising emotional punch, even in comparison to this day and age of shows like "Homicide: Life on the Street" or "Lost", where emotional twists and complexities are much more common. I even repeated the viewing a couple weeks later, and STILL found that i...

There sure a few cringe worthy episodes, but in almost every case there's always some cool bits between Magnum and Higgie, or with TC and Rick, and that sort of tides me over during the soapy bits. And Higgins exclaiming "Oh. My. God!" never fails to get a grin out of me, and that happens in nearly ...

I can't think of too many 6 or more season complete box sets of ANY shows. At some point the complete series box set becomes too cumbersome to package and handle. My observation generally has been that only series that have 1 or 2, or possibly 3 seasons get the complete box set treatment. OR there'l...

I can't shed any light on this, but I can point out that SleuthTV is owned by NBC-Universal AND that Magnum P.I. is a Universal property, so unless the viewing numbers for Magnum are really in the toilet, there's no reason to believe that they won't eventually show the other seasons. I mean, it can'...
