As conservative and straight laced as Higgins is, I would think that he does find his lifestyle with the blond bimbos and his trashy novels offensive. However, he knows that he has a very enviable life their on the estate and knows which side his bread is buttered...so to speak. He keeps his opinion...

You wonder about things like I do. I have often wondered just how he enjoyed such a lavish lifestyle.

It's a tv show. We aren't supposed to think about those things.

Never again....never again was my favorite of that season. Followed by the season premier 2 parter, only because we got a rare glimpse inside the house. Adelaide and then lest we forget.

George Foreman just has a huge ego that's all. I bet it is a nightmare in that house when "George" is called out.

Another point about storms, people who live in storm-prone areas do not panic at the thought of a storm. We prepare and we weather. It's how we roll.
Well, I don't panic, but I have lived in Texas, very near the gulf of Mexico all my life, and I don't like hurricanes. I do worry about them.

A few things I found amusing about The Big Blow: According to Higgins, this party was supposed to be the social event of the season. If that is the case, then why were only 5 people invited? :D Second, when Magnum guesses that the accountant would like a Scotch neat for a drink, the accountant says ...

The Kona winds vs. The Big Blow

Remember how freaked out Higgins was during the Kona Winds where he was running around trying to get the estate shored up before the storm hit? He was telling Magnum to make sure the generator was working, get the water and masking tape. He was afraid the windows would shatter. This was only a tropi...

I loved Summer School. I really liked R.J. and his mischiefness. As for Kona Winds, I agree, it was really bad. I stayed a bit lost throughout the whole thing, and the ending just didn't help.

I wanted to see Robin Masters!!!! He was mentioned so many times that I really wanted to see him. I know about the whole Robin/Higgins mess, but I really don't think it would have been so bad had the producers just let Robin be a character that showed himself from time to time.

I can't see Higgins giving up his British citizenship....ever. He was just too much of a tough old Brit! I think he enjoyed living in Hawaii very much, but I think he will always consider England home.

According to the tax roles, the main house is 5,000 sq. ft. I can't remember how large the guest house is. I think it was said...or it could have been that gate house. I don't have the link to the tax site.
