It was one episode per night when I first purchased the DVD's. Lately it has been one every week or two. Got distracted by the Tour de France in July, which caused a TV overdose.

We bought our first VCR in 1987 for about $200 (the bottom of the line).I think it may have been a Magnavox. I started taping the middle of season 7, because there was talk of there being no season 8. I still have Limbo labeled as "last Magnum PI" on the tape box. Wow, that was a long time ago.....

Yeah, the topic deviated a bit. I'm not interested in watching, but talent is talent and there are more people in the world with the same ability or at least potential as the actors and singers etc. that have "made it". For instance I wish lesser known actors were used more often in movies, instead...

I have found that, at least for me, Luther is an accquired taste. The first time I saw him it was "what the..." Now I will pick out the episodes with LHG, just to see hime interact with Magnum.

I've been a fan of EC since his Yardbirds (and later, Cream) days. We may have everything he's ever recorded...need to check on that, sometimes music "goes missing" at our house. The first concert my son ever attended was as Clapton stadium show at the age of 4!
