I agree. Two pools, three new houses. Plus the Guest/Boat House and the Gate House. They definitely filled up the space.

I found another Drone video of the Pahonu estate with the construction almost completed. It shows a good overview of the entire estate grounds.
I'm happy they preserved Magnum's :Guest House" at least.

Obama and Nesbit split the estate into 2 separate lots. Two new residences were built. The gate house and boat house were preserved.

That would be spectacular! I guess we’ll never know though.

Just found a recent video of the nearly completed Obama estate at Pahonu. For me, the best thing about the video are some views of the restored Magnum Guest house/boat house. I'm happy to see it was preserved relatively unchanged from the outside.

Thanks for the compliments. I remember how surprisingly sad I was when I read about the estate house being demolished. I'm still sad about it. The tidal pool is still great to visit, but it can never be the same without Robins Nest visible. I will add that the Beaches on this side of the island are ...
