Re: MPI morale patches

Morale patches are something to attach to the velcro on your gear (backpack, body armor, jacket, etc.) Usually, it's something humorous or something to raise morale of the people that see it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morale_patch I joined the navy as a mid-life crisis, so I'm a little older th...

MPI morale patches

Hi guys! In my search for MPI-related morale patches for my backpack velcro, I discovered this one last year: https://redheadedtshirts.com/products/island-hoppers-magnum-pi-morale-patch?_pos=1&_sid=14051f2e1&_ss=r But yesterday, I found these two: https://patchops.com/?s=magnum I haven't received th...

Colonel John Llewellyn Waddy died last month at the ago of 100. He had an amazing and varied career with similarities to a certain Regimental Sergeant Major!

Re: Echoes of the Mind (2) (5.2)

I just finished watching this on Hallmark. The ending was cut to remove Thomas yelling “Nooooo!” and the final gunshot. The last thing we hear is the click of Diane cocking the gun. I’ve commented previously on edits made by Hallmark and Charge, but they were for language. In the same episode a few ...

Re: Billy Joe Bob (2.1)

While watching yesterday on Hallmark, the work “hooker” was removed when Magnum was explaining to T.C. why he needed him to distract Billy Joe.

Re: Foiled Again (3.8)

It’s showing this afternoon on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. Nothing bleeped out! One of my favorite episodes! It was one of the first ones I saw when my friend told me I needed to watch “Magnum, PI” when we were in high school. “...Next thing you know, someone’s offed him.” “Higgins didn...

Re: Foiled Again (3.8)

Just watching this on a Charge! Network marathon today (Noon to Midnight).

They bleeped out “knob” when Troubshaw tells Jonathan “You silly little knob!” And again when adult Troubshaw walks in on him and Velma and calls him a knob.

Hilarious! If it’s that bad a word, I’m going to say it more often!

Re: Did You See the Sunrise? (1) (3.1)

Watching this and part 2 on the Charge! channel this morning and Ivan’s racial slur was beeped out - with an audible “beeeeeep,” not a loss of volume like you normally have nowadays. In the subtitles, it is replaced with asterisks.

Re: Season 2 Episode 16: Farewell to Love (2.16)

Is it just me, or does the waterfall in this episode look like the waterfall in "The Treasure of Kalaniopu'u"?
