Re: Roger on reboot.

I fully agree also. Let's enjoy some things rather than constantly criticize. Agreed! I look forward to seeing Mr. Mosley. I’ve enjoyed following his career since first seeing him in Magnum and then looking back to his work in the 70s. Good to see him work in front of the camera-probably not an eas...

Re: The John Hillerman Thread

"Well, Hawaii is a great place for outdoor activities. The sun and the great weather. Isn't there anything you like to do outdoors?" and he said sometimes he would go out on the lanai and have a drink. I was looking for places to live on Oahu because of all the snow here today in Maryland. I wonder...

Yeah, my Para USA Elite was less than $700, and I have no complaints.

However, my wife said if we win the Powerball, I can get the STI...and a Pepsi GMT. 8)

Re: If You Removed Everything about Magnum PI ........

[ If you took away the most obvious trappings of Magnum -the homages etc. I believe the show could work. The more salient question, I believe, is would the show have gotten made? Again- Hollywood executives are a cowardly and superstitious lot. They're extremely risk averse, which is why much of th...

Re: Live stream of consciousness reboot thoughts as I watch

James Remar was a good choice as Buck Greene. He was an old dude with nothing but three ribbons and a SWO pin. He fit the Cooley model ("rust buckets of this man's navy") better than the Buck one. It's acceptable to wear your top three ribbons, not all. It was an Information Warfare pin. That's wha...

Re: Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii (1) (1.1)

COZI TV showed part one of "Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii" today. I caught the last ten minutes. For the sake of completion (and because I hadn't seen it in a while), I watched it on demand this afternoon-after watching the end (and only the end) of "A Very Brady Sequel" to see John Hillerman in his ...

... being Army, I'm not familiar with the Information Warfare Device. As for the Meritorious Service Medals, I can say by personal experience, they are not easily awarded. I know my two certainly weren't. Sorry I neglected to say this earlier: Thank you for your service. Very respectfully, Gary

Re: Col. Buck Greene

I for one, am glad to see the return of Buck Greene. While Magnum had numerous run ins with Buck, the character added a great deal to the Michelle story. Lance De Gault's depiction of Col. Greene provided much of the back story of Magnum's Vietnam service. While Buck Greene was a thorn in the flesh...

Re: Col. Buck Greene

The name plate says "CAPT BUCK GREENE" so he's going to be a Navy O-6 instead of Marine. He's wearing an Information Warfare Device so he's in the intelligence community. Also he has a Defense Distinguished Service Ribbon and two awards of the Meritorius Service Medal. The gold being slammed on his ...

Just watched 10th season episode of Hawaii Five-0...A Stranger In his Grave. I couldn't stop giggling. https://s7.postimg.org/5jm6ogeuj/Snapshot_0.png Whom do I have to talk to about getting my damn Fresca!
