Re: No season 5, reboot cancelled

What can I say? The New Magnum, like new Coke, is history. To all the Maniacs, don't party too hard celebrating this evening, because hangovers are a bitch. :D

Re: Obama tore down Robin's Nest with video

I, like so many others, am happy, I spent several afternoons on Robin Master's beach. I had planned to spend some time there this fall, on my annual trip to Oahu. But, if Punahou is no longer, I think the Pali may be a better bet.

Re: Pahonu Construction

Pool? Pool? Why would you put in a pool, when the water is right there? Having been to that beach several times, how could that be improved upon? And the view..... it's like corrupting your high grade vodka with mixers. :higgins:

Re: Patrice Martinez has passed away!

Sorry to hear of Patrice Martinez's passing. Her beauty and grace, made her one of my two favorite of Magnum's ladies. The topics of both cancer and advanced fungal infections, are both horrific. I lost my father earlier this year from cancer. He suffered from non small cell lymphoma, caused by a ge...

Re: Magnum March MADNESS!!!!

Conch: Black on White, was another of the high intensity episodes, that provides the beginning of SGM Higgins life. SGM Higgins exceptionally high standards and professionalism, are permanently set by this episode. SGM Higgins comments on the fighting during the Kenyan uprising, and the brutality by...

Re: For Bondtoys.de

What a wonderful display by two gracious gentlemen. Conch offering a true, hearth felt apology, and Bondtoys for his acceptance. What more can one say?

Re: Who owns the DVDs?

I believe, I was the test subject for the import Blu-rays. I absolutely love having them, and have spent numerous evenings enjoying binge watching Magnum. I did the same thing with Miami Vice, Hell on Wheels, etc.

Re: Magnum March MADNESS!!!!

Conch: Your second week choices were wonderful as well! "Laura" was one of my favorite episodes, and "China Doll" was another. Those familiar with my posts, will know that I certainly enjoyed "China Doll", commenting on both script and co-star Susie Elene. It was one of those early episodes that set...

Nifty: Thank you for your DVD information. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on the full DVD set on Amazon, but wanted to get additional input before making the purchase.

Like all, I was happy to see Roger Mosley on the screen. It took me a moment to recognize him, but after he spoke there was no doubt it was Roger. Will he have a recurring role on the reboot, only Lenkov knows.

Re: It seems Peter Lenkov can't take the heat

Hi all; I just stumbled onto this particular thread. Spending some time reading the posts, I find my original premise of Conch being blocked by Peter Lenkov to be humorous. Maybe it's just my life experience or upbringing, but I do find it funny. As to the reboot of Magnum, the writing is getting be...

Chris109: Are you satisfied with the viewing quality of your downloads? To be honest, I hadn't thought of just downloading them.

Re: Magnum March MADNESS!!!!

Conch; The Magnum March Madness premiere had two of my favorites episodes: Death and Taxes, and Unfinished Business. Hopefully you had something to do with the programming selection. As I recall, these episodes along with several others, were said to have the "gritty Miami Vice" feel to them. Outsta...

Jesse Stone on Bluray

Has anyone seen the Jesse Stone series on Blu-ray? I plan on purchasing the entire series, but would prefer Blu-ray to DVD. Any help would be most welcome.

Re: Season 1 Episode 17: Black is the Widow (1.17)

Interestingly enough, much of this episode was filmed at the Ko 'Olina on western Oahu. Mini Mag's "dates" were shot at the Four Seasons (formerly the JW Marriott Ihilnai), and Shiggins yoga routine was done at Paradise Cove. The truly interesting part is several episodes of Magnum P.I. were also fi...
