Re: Leonard Nimoy, R.I.P.

A great loss!

He was well known for Star Trek, but he was on other films, like on the "Body snatchers" original film, cult movie.

Re: I've designed my own Team Ring

Tony, I was attempting to make a "joke" , cause I know if you ever made an actual 308 replica, it would be hard to tell from the real thing! I also know I wouldn't be able to afford one! :magnum: The key fobs/chains look great, but that's what we've come to expect from you, so no surprise to ...

Re: I've designed my own Team Ring

Very happy to give a good review, Tony, you did a fantastic job on this project. You are welcome to use anything I have posted, any way you like. Any plans for a 308 replica? A 308 ring replica? Well, I've made some cool keychains for the 308!!! :magnum: https://www.shapeways.com/produc...

Re: I've designed my own Team Ring

Great revue 308Guy!!! I'm very happy you're pleased with! I've designed it with all my passion to one of the most interesting TV shows on the 80's. Guess what song sounds on my mobile when it rings? I appreciate so much your excellent revue. I see that you have taken in account the design matc...

Re: I've designed my own Team Ring

The ring looks great! So what you are telling us is that it can be ordered from Shapeways in your choice of materials and they will make it to order? This looks like what more than a few here have been looking for. Those who wanted a "team ring" but didn't want to spend a fortune on it. The polishe...

Re: I've designed my own Team Ring

Tony, the ring looks great! Very nice work. I think you could probably have your jeweler enamel the black part after casting, but the plastic insert should be fine too. Do you plan to use adhesive to attach it? Looks exactly like the one Rockin' Robbie offers on his website. I paid the "big bucks" ...

Any concerns about the plastic long term?
I think that there wouldn't be any problem. It's laser sintered nylon. And the replacement is cheap, so no worries. At the end, we have the choice to paint it too!!!! :magnum:

I've designed my own Team Ring

Hi guys! I want to share with you that I've designed a prop from Magnum P.I. I've told it to Steve, and he told me to share it with all the Magnum Maniacs guys here. I've designed my own Team Ring with a 3D CAD program. After that I've send it to Shapeways to produce it, and here it is! It has been ...

Re: The Welcome Wagon

This is probably as close as I'll ever get! This is a 79'factory blue 308GTS that is being stored in my partners warehouse for the winter. I do have under construction, a fiberglass replica of a 308, but it's a looooong way from being ready to drive. I know a man in Salou that is (or used to be) an...

Re: The Welcome Wagon

Hello to everybody! I'm following Magnum-Mania from some years ago, but now I've decided to register here. Of course I'm a Magnum PI fan, and I've bought a little list of things that Magnum uses or shows in the movie -not original items, of course!!!-. DVD, caps, cars, badges, sunglasses, etc... And...
