Re: Texas Lightning (2.18)

A rare awful episode for me, gave it a 6. I always enjoy spotting the recurring bit actors but the dude playing Thompson had been in The Woman on the Beach earlier this year, way too soon to show up again. This is especially annoying of watching in order, takes out the realism from a great show. I d...

Re: Old Acquaintance (6.3)

I actually liked this episode and gave it an 8. Yes of course Goldie was annoying and her past with Magnum didn't really fit but A) she was fairly attractive and B) I'm a sucker for Dolphins and sea creatures lol. If I can be honest, I found Rodney Radcliffe to be FAR more annoying than Goldie. He w...

Re: The Big Blow (3.22)

I just watched this one again and liked more than the three or four other times. It's got that good creepy element that wasn't used enough in Magnum in my opinion. Love the isolation due to the storm and being held captive by the crooks, again creepy and thriller type episode. Did we see some parts ...

Re:

NOT one of my favorites! The plot is jsut too contrived. Or at least I hope it's contrived. Maybe I'm just jealous. I like to think that if I had A LOT of money, I'd spend it...and my time...WAY more constructively! :x Good comment, I thought this was a very silly plot. All Magnum's are good (Excep...

Re:

Hehe.... He also uses it at the end to scare the KGB-trained attack Macaw, which then gets pureed by T.C.'s chopper! That whole scene is one of my all-time favorite "Campy" Magnum scenes. I actually have a flash video clip of it in the Video page - direct link here . Overall though, a weak episode,...

Re:

Come on, you have to give this episode some bonus points for Higgins hunting cry of the peregrine falcon when he's running. Absolutely hilarious! I love this site. Great work! YES! Outside of the ridiculous rymes of Milton Collins in Death and Taxes this is the FUNNIEST scene ever! I actually...

Re: I Do? (3.17)

I have always really liked this episode for some reason. The faked wedding, the hot blonde (even though she's terribly mean and reminds me of my soon to be ex-wife lol) the cottage and the overall plot were all fun! I love when Rick drops the plastic champagne glass after calling Higgins a snob and ...

Re:

Just saw this episode and have come to this conclusion: Marsha MacKenzie is being added to the list of characters that irritate me to no end, that being Goldie Morris, Shelly Faraday, Betty Windham, and whoever that reporter guy was from "Heal Thyself". Ugh, I gotta feel for Magnum on this one. Tha...

Re: Memories Are Forever (1) (2.5)

I think this is one of the best of the whole series, a perfect 10! What a sad episode. TM and Michelle were clearly madly in love and they just can't seem to be together. As far as the comments regarding Michelle/Marta Dubois, I personally find her to be an absolute knockout! I don't think they coul...

Re:

For some reason....and I don't know why I always seem to watch this episode when I can't decide on the one I want to watch. I agree! This is a very fun episode with several notable quotes. The interchange between Magnum and Higgins where he whispers and then yells "A midget or a dwarf." and then th...

Re: Holmes Is Where the Heart Is (4.18)

I thought this episode was absolutely terrible. The only enjoyment I got out of it was a) laughing at the ridiculousness of it all and b) TM constantly pulling pranks on Higgins to get in the study to get the camera lense, which reminded me of season 7s "Paper War". The hammer to the wine cabinet wa...

Re: The Aunt Who Came to Dinner (7.20)

I wasn't a big fan of this episode. It was a touching story in a sense showing how TM and his aunt had a special relationship and her illness was of course very sad. With that being said, the whole episode just felt out of character for Magnum PI. Barbara Rush did a fantastic job of playing the role...
