LOL

Oh yeah, Mick could've done that scene easily. Ronnie...maybe one line of it.

And Keith? Forget it. He'd have stayed up all night and then failed to report to the set.

What about creating a sub-board for each season? You could then have a thread for each episode, with a 1-10 poll on the first page. This would not only allow members to vote, but provide their own review as well.

Yeah, that's always been a problem with the IMDB. Any kid can contribute information, but it takes forever for them to correct inaccurate entries. I'm sure there's probably more focus paid to current films/tv shows as well. The funny thing is, if anyone ever shows that to Ronnie...he'll probably bel...

There's a surreal moment in Double Jeopardy where Magnum is playing a stunt double- and being doubled himself! Incidentally, this episode opens with Magnum saying the cab driver is blasting "Orange Blossom Special" on the radio. It appears to be a stock cover, but I wonder if it were origina...

Btw, speaking of games, this is from the trivia section for the episode Black on White: The handheld game that Rick gives Magnum is a Tomy Puck Man, a Pac Man clone released in 1981. Actually, the game wasn't a clone, but Tomytronic's version of Pac Man. The same company did release a Puck Man versi...

They're currently remastering original Star Trek episodes, using cgi to update things like planet exteriors, backgrounds, f/x, etc. But I wonder if/how they are addressing the issue of Kirk's stuntmen? I mean, nothing dates an episode more than watching Kirk confront Khan, then suddenly...two other ...

Interesting trivia. I've always liked that episode, and the opening always reminds me of the opening to the Tom Hanks' film, Big. It's also an example of the writers taking some major liberties with technology. First, with the way the computer is crashed, and later, when Mac just "reprograms" it in ...

I had some Magnum trading cards as a kid. Some of them had little quotes on the back that were intended to be Magnum's narration. I remember the Don't Eat The Snow In Hawaii card had Magnum talking about Higgins ordering a cheeseburger on the back. For years, I've wondered what the hell that was abo...

Two Birds of a Feather was a little painful, although I guess a spinoff attempt doesn't really count. However, it does feature Higgins delivering one of the series' greatest outbursts.

Upon seeing a crashed airplane in the tidal pool, Higgins demands, "Magnum! What have you done?!!"

Anyone know how many stations currently air Magnum in syndication? I am only aware of the following: http://www.sleuthchannel.com/Schedule/search.bravo?month=3908-1&keyword=magnum&start=today http://wgnsuperstation.trb.com/ WGN will soon begin airing episodes from Season 6, so they may provide the b...

Modern Day vs. 80's Setting

And it looks like the Iraqi War backstory is confirmed now, which means no 80s setting. The above comment got me to thinking- how much will a modern day version differ? It will certainly affect Magnum's investigations. After all, most people now have online access to the type of routine information...

I can actually see Matthew McConaughey being cast, but that probably means it will be a much shallower version of the character. (And similar to McConaughey's past roles which relied heavily on charm.) In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if someone watched Failure To Launch and said, "Hey, here's a guy...

I've always wondered how the Ferrari would be included, since the idea was that Magnum got to drive one of the most expensive cars available- for free. Will they stick to that premise and update the model? Or will they include the original model and pass it off as Magnum driving one of Mr. Master's ...

I agree a reunion film should've really happened in the 90's, although given a choice, I'd still prefer to see the original cast. (Hillerman's age does make the prospect less and less likely, though.) I've just always found sequels more interesting than prequels, reboots, or remakes. Plus, one probl...

I can understand Selleck holding out for a theatrical release back in the 90's, especially back when he had Tom Clancy willing to lend support. But ironically, now it looks as though his best chance will be if a big screen version falls through . Perhaps then we will be able to see the original cast...
