Arrggh ... my DVR stopped recording 41 minutes into the show  (I forgot how much I enjoy Craig Ferguson; of course I really don't have many chances to watch him during his timeslot in these parts, since I have to be up at 6:00 AM to get to work, and pulling all-nighters is a thing of the past!)...

Las Vegas Cancelled

Just read on a Las Vegas fan website that NBC has officially confirmed that Las Vegas has been cancelled. I guess that means no more mini-Magnum reunions. Hopefully, they'll come out with a Season 5 DVD set, so we can re-live that little reunion that was. It will be interesting to see if TS has anyt...

It's the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, on CBS -- tonight, or the wee hours of tomorrow morning (12:35 AM in my part of the world).

Thanks, Miss Q -- I raced right downstairs to program the DVR! (It's so nice to finally be part of the 21st Century!)

Yup, 19 episodes (if you count the 2-hour finale as 2 episodes, which it really was, even though they gave it one name). I read that they had 3 more scripts finalized or close to finalized when the Writers strike hit, but only had time to film 19. I'm hoping that if they make the effort to film thos...

Wonder if Zeus and Apollo were the inspiration ...

Caught a showing of Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" earlier this week and it made me wonder (once again) if Zeus and Apollo were the inspiration for Cornwallis's Great Danes, Jupiter and Mars, who adopted Gibson's character. I was channeling Higgins and The Lads whenever they appeared! Or maybe Cornwalli...

I must admit that I enjoyed Cooper's "Aloha" moment during the second hour of this week's episode... seemed like old times! I was pleased to see a lot more of Cooper :D and I read that LV won the rating for both its hours ... but that it's still not certain that NBC will renew it for a 6th season an...

An Idea

James -- I was recently at a MacGyver website -- actually, it was Richard Dean Anderson's website -- and I noticed a really neat feature that you might be able to pull off for Magnum Mania. It's a series of pages that shows, side-by-side, certain episode locations and their corresponding real-life l...

According to IMDB ... During the brief run of the late night "The Chevy Chase Show" (1993) on Fox, Selleck guest-starred and, as a gag, asked to be presented his 1993 Worst Supporting Actor 'Razzie' award for his performance as King Ferdinand of Spain in Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992). W...

I recently came across an interview with Kathy Bates, where she said that CBS hasn't scheduled it yet. "Sea Change" was first aired in late May last year, so maybe they're waiting for this year's May sweeps to air "Thin Ice." At least the "Sea Change" DVD is being released on 2/26. As I recall, "Dea...

Has anyone seen last year's animated "Meet the Robinsons" movie? Apparently, TS provided the voice for a character named Cornelius. The trailers seemed so odd (the dinosaur with the big head and little arms), that I was never interested in seeing it, but I happened to catch a YouTube clip that inclu...

This past weekend, I was moseying around the local consignment store, waiting for them to take in my stuff, and found myself in the book/dvd section. Not a lot of dvds, but one caught my eye -- "Concrete Cowboys" -- starring Jerry Reed and TS. Since it was only $5, I splurged. With hubby and son awa...

Anyone interested in a Cross of Lorraine Luminary?

Several years ago, my husband and I came across some candle luminaries at a local craft fair. We bought one then, and it looks so cool when the candle is lit that I now have at least one for every season. When I was ordering some for Xmas gifts this year (including a Scottish Lion to match the one t...

A&E still has a Magnum PI forum -- which is a little difficult to find. It's at: http://boards.aetv.com/forum.jspa?forumID=18

I haven't seen the Cross of Lorraine ratings, but there are 7 pages of topics, and they only seem to go as far back as early 2005.
