Magnum Mania!

Not sure if this is in the right section or not . . .

On last night's episode (2/3) of Modern Family on ABC, Phil Dunphy (the daughter's husband, played by Ty Burrell) is driving to a real estate appointment and passes a bus bench with advertising and his picture on it which had been vandalized . . . they drew a mustache on him.

He said "he doesn't take kindly to it when someone Tom Sellecks his bus bench"

Of course, it also got him thinking about how cool mustaches are . . .

There was also a Magnum reference on Psych where the main character, Shawn, asks his best friend's new girlfriend what her favorite Magnum P.I. episode is as part of his test of her worthiness to date his friend. Her reply..."Did You See the Sunrise?".

Almost right out of the movie, Diner when Steve Guttenberg gives his Fianc'ee, Ellen Barkin, a football quiz before he will go through with the wedding......Hilarious!

I remember this episode. Only because of the Selleck reference. Everybody wishes they could be Magnum! Even when I was a kid, my friends and I would play "Star Trek", but instead of Capt. Kirk I had to be "Capt. Magnum"!
