Magnum Mania!

I bought the Mill Creek Blu-Ray complete series from Amazon for $71.00. It was well worth the price. The episodes were much clearer and definitly brighter then the first DVD set that I got many years ago.
I recomend the blu-ray series for anyone really into Magnum P.I.

I recomend to wait for the German Blu Rays for everyone really into the show.
Altough Mill Creek are using the newest 4K Remasters of the show they over compressed them. A lot of Grain is lost in compression so to speak and there are a lot of artifacts in the picture. Cant believe what they did to those otherwise beautiful masters.

But the worst thing is that all the Episodes with movie running time are only the heavily cut syndication 2 Part Edits. Thats a No-Go!!!
All of this will be corrected in the German set. And they are also using the 4K Remasterings.
Yes its way more expensive than the mill creek set but it will be worth the price.

Yes they dont ship to the US.
You can probably get it via resellers.

Or maybe it will be available on ebay from some people.

IF anybody still has original airings of "Never Again, Never Again" and "Dream A Little Dream" and WANTS these audio tracks on the upcoming BluRay relase: Contact me.

I honestly believe it's the last chance to properly archive these - Universal will never include them in their release. So far I could find no recordings of those versions.
