See, Dobie? You can do links! And you say you don't know how.Luther's nephew Dobie wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 3:02 am Noted character actor/director/producer James Hong appeared on Bonanza as the cousin of the Cartwright's cook Hop Sing.
As "Number One Cousin" he cooked for the Cartwrights in a few episodes when Victor Sen Yung(Hop Sing) had other commitments.
Fast forward 30 years to another NBC series, Seinfeld, and James Hong is now playing the maitre d' in a Chinese restaurant in the noted
episode "The Chinese Restaurant".
In Joke:
While George Costanza and pals are waiting for their table, James Hong calls out the name of the next party to be seated, "Cartwright, party of four".
I guess Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe had a yen for General Tso's Chicken that night:

Lol, I think you're making it harder than it is. Simple copy and paste. Well, provided you know how to copy and paste a link (which I think you do) you just copy it from wherever and paste it here. Heck of a lot easier than saying "Go to YouTube, type in blah blah blah, and then you'll see it".Luther's nephew Dobie wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 5:04 pmIvan,ZelenskyTheValiant (Ivan) wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 6:10 amSee, Dobie? Like George Washington I cannot tell a lie. I lifted my above post from the "It Got By The Censors/In Joke" thread. KENJI then added the youtube link
in his reply there, which I copied for the above.
So I am still the hapless Luddite I have always been.
However, yesterday I did get my first cell phone - it is the 2000's after all, who knew? - choke full of tech so alien to me it might has well have come from the Klingons.
Damn thing wants my fingerprint! I wish I had a pet koala, I would use one of it's paws as koala's fingerprints are indistinguishable from human's.
And by the way it doesn't come with a manual!
The cell phone, not the koala.
My whole life new gear comes with a manual, but oh no not in the 21st century where my smart phone puts Kirk's communicator to shame.
And would you believe the people at the phone store said that at any rate there are no printed manuals to buy - forsaking another income stream for themselves - that I could
have used to peruse and learn at my leisure?
To heck with that, I found a joint in England that runs a niche operation providing such manuals, extra for a spiral edition.
With my luck they will send me the manual for a "1994 Comrade Tito Mark IV Cell Phone, the Cutting Edge of Yugoslavian Technology" written by a Nigerian prince who will share
his inheritance with me for buying this nifty manual he authored.

I don't see anything on YouTube that says "insert in mail". How about going to the top of the YouTube page and copying that thing that you see in the URL bar. You know, the thing that looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4BeL8nD14YLuther's nephew Dobie wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 3:27 am
Ivan,
I went to you tube, hit on "insert in mail", for the links to two renditions of the Hawaii 5-0 song, they then appearing on a blank e-mail page.
They work when I sent the e-mail to myself and opened it, then clicked on the links. So I copied them and am pasting the link here:
(1) Don Ho - YOU CAN COME WITH ME (Theme from "Hawaii Five-0") LYRICS - YouTube
(1) You Can Count On Me - YouTube
I'll be damned if I know what I'm doing wrong. Frankly it's embarrassing. At any rate thank you for your well intentioned advice.
Tech is not my friend.
I'm afraid I am one of those people who would have bought the 1973 Pinto whose gas tank had a habit of exploding, as well as the infamous 3 wheeled
Reliant Robin(Mr. Bean's car) that rolled over in a stiff breeze.
I would have chosen the Sony Betamax recorder over the VCR back when as well.
I did buy the Harley Davidson perfume that came out in 1994. A word to the wise, even a biker chick will chuck that at you if you present it to her on her birthday.
