what gun do you think magnum would use in the movie?

There are many fine guns out there and Hollywood types would probably modernize Magnum and give him a Glock .40 or .45. Now, if they keep the 'we want to be true to the original' approach, he would still use the 1911. The only other gun Magnum carried was a Walther PPK in an ankle holster as far as I can remember.

The 1911/A1 plattform is still considered my many to be the best gun around. Even Special Forces units in the military are bringing them back NOW after the M9 took it's place in 1986. Magnum wouldn't be the same with anything else. BTW, I'm a huge 1911 fan my self.

i would like to think he wouldn´t use it for most of the film and then eventually we would see him searching in a cupboard as he always did. then out comes the gorilla mask, rubber chicken and finally a dusty old box containing his 1911
