That was an interesting link/idea. But casting is all, along with producers whom understand why the original TV series worked.
A Magnum PI/Rockford Files crossover TV movie would be my choice, to see if the idea clicked. But I don't think Jim and Thomas would mesh well with the A-Team and Knight Rider etc,
they come out of different viewpoints. Mr. T and Rockford would perplex each other. On the other hand, those two being so different might make for some first rate fireworks.

What are the similarities between Rockford and Magnum that would make a crossover between them work? Also, how did you feel about the original Magnum and Murder She Wrote crossover? Lastly, do you think the current Magnum and Macgyver characters should be in a reboot team Knight Rider crossover, if Hollywood has the right villains for them?
