It's not surprising, really. I didn't even watch this past season. They missed the boat with the casting, the concept and the writing.
I still wish they would have put together the reboot starring a grownup Lily, with Selleck as an older Magnum. It's the perfect storyline. Instead of Higgins, Magnum is now the crotchety old man who's daughter is a young investigator with a penchant for getting into trouble with her sidekicks. Then, occasionally, her dad and his buddies have to bail them out.
But I digress...

I don't care I'm an OG Magnum fan the original series is what I loved it's still the best.

It was Lenkov’s dream come true, but a waking nightmare for everyone who worked for him. What a hack. I bet he read the press release and was pissed his name wasn’t checked. Don’t worry Peter! We all remember what you did!

Nah, I didn’t read the press release… but I did see this story… and was hoping some would have sympathy for the good folks who lost their jobs today. I do. As for you, a total coward who hides behind “anonymous”, what do you remember that I did? Being a demanding boss? And if I’m a hack, I’m certainly a very lucky one. Go create a hit show, then swing back around here, your comments will then carry some real weight.
I've never understood this "create" mindset.
Reboots never create anything.
They just plagiarize and tweak. I could do that on a napkin at Starbucks for any classic show.

I won't miss it. I have watched every episode of the reboot, but it's just something to pass the time. I got 1/3 into last week's episode and that's it so far.
Now I can get back to only caring about the original.

There must have been a lot of negative comments, since there was about 500 before, but there's only 31 comments now. It's like they reset the comments, or deleted a bunch.
