A nun hires Magnum and Higgins to investigate a mysterious cash donation made to a parishioner undergoing medical treatment at the church. Jin's new dog walking business takes a dramatic turn. Rick prepares to reconnect with Suzy.

Some filler before the spoiler.
I was in Hawaii over Christmas and saw the "Island Hoppers" / Magnum tours helicopter pass overhead many times. The best thing we did this trip was an outrigger canoe trip through the Waikiki surf ($35, 2 waves, about 20 minutes). 5 paddlers, one rider and a supplied captain. Very fun.
Back to Magnum, I guess the white SUV story is dead. More dead than Juliet's relationship with Ethan. I wonder if Magnum's lawyer girl friend who left for the mainland will ever return. The relationship with the HPD detective Leia may have cooled.

If TC doesn't refer to Suzy and Rick's upcoming baby as "Little Orville" then the writers aren't even trying.
