Magnum Mania!

Thanks to you guys who've watched it and written your thoughts here.
It's pretty funny reading some of the responses... I was half hoping for it to be great too.

I've only seen the first trailer and can happily leave it at that...

I watched 5/6 episodes but honestly can’t even remember the stories (other than the Fish) or tell you what they were about.

You didn’t miss anything.

Cookie cutter CBS/Lenkov fare. It's actually filmed in the exact same style as H50*. You wouldn't even know it's not H50 if you didn't see the new characters.

* I read that Lenkov was "a fan" of Magnum, P.I. yet did not actually bother re-watching the series before starting Mini-Mag because he didn't want to be influenced.

Just out of curiosity, how does one watch 5/6 of an episode? Would it then become 5/5 of an episode cause you did not watch the opening and ending credits?

Well, you see, the new Magnum is only five-sixths as tall as the old one.

I watched the first 5 or 6 episodes. Don’t remember which.

I, too, have only seen the first trailer, but I was hoping for it to tank after a few episodes.

If you think about, if they cancel the thing, are they gonna do ANOTHER CSI?
Or maybe, SURVIVOR LA?
Or Real Housewives of Baghdad?
How about BACHELORETTE from Mars?

Same here, I watched the pilot and 2 minutes of the 2nd episode. Higgins a chauffeur for Magnum? Later.

I have enjoyed haunting Lenkov and Mini-Mag on Twitter though . . .

I assume it would be 7/6 of an episode if you watching one episode and the opening credits of a second.
