Was Bad Moms a Reboot Prequel?

Watched Bad Moms last night and there were several intersections with the Magnuverse. Of course there was the scene where Kristen Bell says she and her husband have sex once a week, every Friday after Blue Bloods, as she finds Tom Selleck's work "extremely erotic."
But more reboot related, of course, was that Jay Hernandez plays Mila Kunis' love interest. I found myself thinking, "oh no, I'm not going to like him, am I?" He does seem to have some acting chops, and a little charisma. But then, a bit later, is this:
Doesn't appear to be a targa top, but pretty close at any rate.
So it appears the universe was foreshadowing the events of the past couple months. Only time will tell if it bodes well or ill, I guess.
