Magnum Mania!

I haven't seen any info from Rubber Chicken for quite sometime so I thought we could start a filming location thread for the reboot and if he wants to create another fantastic guide or add to the original down the road he has a head start. Thanks again for the original guide Rubber Chicken!

If anyone knows of any filming locations and want to post them we can try and figure out where they are located. I'm sure we will have some repeats from the original so those will be easy.
Anyways here we go with an easy one......

Location 1. Robin's Nest - 51 Kaikea Place, Kailua.

Edit, almost forgot, this is Eric Norris, Chuck Norris' son with an MPI reboot crew member out in front of this house. I'm guessing he's in the reboot as a stuntman but maybe just lives in the neighborhood? ...

One more, they've been filming at this location in Kahala for a few days now. This is one of the places the lads have been on set. Lenkov posted this on Instagram...

Interesting the lads were anywhere else, but the estate, unless they want us to think this is part of the estate (a certain spot in the yard/house)....you know, a little bit of tv trickery. Maybe the lads' duties have increased since we've last seen them and they have to go off site OR these are "someone else's dobies" named Klaus and Fritz Again, time will tell!

I agree KENJI, I'm thinking they'll have the lads doing more in this pilot. They are very cool dogs so why not use them... they'll be a big hit with the viewers.

Looking at Lenkov's Instagram, they were filming here yet again yesterday (Saturday).

What are the chances we never see the pilot?? Remember they had a reboot of HFO with Busey in 1997 that was never released.

Why wait....it's happening in real time as we speak and yes, it might be short lived, but whatever happens you can bet it will be thoroughly covered on MM with our crew.

Didn't catch the house next door in Portlock was the house used in All Roads lead to Floyd....thanks for pointing it out Sam. I'm sure we will have plenty more of these connections down the road which will be fun to discover.....again, assuming the show is even picked up. We might as well live in the moment for now.

Eric Norris is stunt coordinator in Hawaii Five-0 (since episode 7.22). So I guess he is stunt ccoordinator of Magnum P.I. pilot.

Core-4 posted a great pic of the 308 on location at Lagoon Dr. where they have a bunch of hangers, planes and choppers. It will be fun to piece all of our finds together when and if we ever see the pilot episode.

This is Great, I have already been on Google Earth, Youtube, and Real estate sites snooping around at what I assumed were possible filming locations...
I should have know that we already have the best bunch of sleuths right here... it's almost like we all have been training for this since the eighties or something, lol

So far today Lenkov has given us a couple Instagram stories plus a pic, and they're out at Kualoa Ranch...

Another filming location, MPI signs are posted on Kalakaua Ave. for today, Thursday & Friday. The signs are in front of the entrance to the Natatorium so Elks Club & OCC aren't too far away??? I'm not sure how far that direction the signs go though... they could be filming anywhere along there, the beach, at the Natatorium, Kapiolani Park, etc. but it's fun to guess & wonder!

Passed by a big bunch of MPI filming trucks in Kahala the last week of March, a whole bunch of them around Royal Place which is at the Diamond Head end of Kahala Avenue.

Hi North,
They were probably filming at the Banyan House which is 4369 Royal Place.
RG reported on this location which included a few pics of the place. It's definitely a nice house in a great location!
