I tried uploading an avatar with the proper dimensions and file size and I got the message "You must fill in the required fields." What else do I need to do?

You'll have to fill in the password as wel.

Yeah, you have to fill in all three password fields. You don't have to change your password, just enter in your existing password in all three fields.

This is a bug in the forum code. You shouldn't have to enter your password when are updating your profile, and you are already authenticated.

This has been on my "to do" list for a while now. I'll try to fix it soon.
