BREAKING BAD

This show is about the evil of drugs (REALLY BAD DRUGS!). It's also about the decline of western civilization. The writing is tight, and the characters are interesting. Most of them have few morals, although they are likable.
A very different contrast to MPI.(which is alright, because who wants a ripoff? Both shows are cutting edge.).
But, a Jewish lawyer named Saul Goodman name dropped MAGNUM in the last episode.

This show is the only thing interesting on TV these days.

i totally agree with you.
the main character is awesome and has a great palette of feelings (he begins as a boring professor who breaks bad after being diagnosticated with lung cancer and evolves to the most cynical of the criminals even after his cancer is receding)
it's all about moral and the chasm of a life lived out of the laws.
The results of his actions on society are dreadful (see the planes' crash).
The lawyer is not jewish, he says it's good for business to have a jewish name;
i also laughed when he said that one day a girl really thought he was Kevin Kostner- he does look like him :lol:

Saw most of the first season. Great, great show! Bryan Cranston is one of my favorite actors. Can't wait to see the rest (someday)!

It's definetly a great show. In the same caliber as MPI, or really close. Very few shows come close.

Sorry about that, gang. AMC showed the movie "THUNDERHEART" instead.
But it's a decent film, it really shows the Indians in a good light, and the struggle to take back their land.
I guess next sunday is the last episode. Anybody think they're going to extend it to another season? Maybe the producers will drag it on and on like they have with "LOST".......?

Last week (the "Higgins" episode) was the season finale. I think it will go at least one more season. I can't see it going too much further for the simple fact that there have to be consequences for them sooner or later.

I agree. They can only stretch it so long. I really like the ending. It was a reflection of the ending to "Did You See The Sunrise?".

I agree Mac. There is somewhat of a correlation there.

They should do a MAGNUM P.I. movie with Tom Selleck, but have the writer from BREAKING BAD write the screenplay. What a trip that would be!
