I was watching tonight's episode Kanalu Hope Loa (The Last Break) and the scene that I watched being filmed in Hawaii/July (refer to the pics I posted in August) popped up. Interesting to see the final product.

From the post just above mine, which stated " . . . as he campaigns this November for a place where his attributes will take him far, the US House of Representatives." If he becomes a U.S. Congressman (From the Office of the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives: "A Member of the House also is called a Congresswoman or Congressman"), well, look at their federal benefits.

Thanks! Trip to Kauai was fine as usual. Surf was a little rougher than usual, so we didn't get to do as much snorkeling as we would have liked. But we tried a couple of places where we hadn't snorkeled before. We found Ke'e Beach to be WAY over-rated for snorkeling. Anini Beach was good, but the fish were all juveniles -- excellent variety though. The best beach for snorkeling, for quality and quantity, is still Lawai Beach. So if you're ready to LYAO at what I did when we were not snorkeling, check this out (okay, be kind, and keep in mind that doing this was on my Bucket List since we saw this log here at Lydgate Beach Park back in 2002 when we went to Hawaii for the first time, and I thought then, "I HAVE to . . . . [make a complete idiot of myself]"):

Need a report on anything else?

We've never gotten around to kayaking or tubing on the river there. We seem to spend most of our time driving around and visiting different beaches.

Below is the beach 400 yards from our condo, where we sat every night and just listened to the surf until after dark (not much in the way of sunsets, since we were on the east side of the island).

We enjoyed dinner one night here in Kapa'a.

I'm SO ready to go back! I just want to win the lottery so we can move there.

I agree Hawaii is a very addictive place and it's hard to leave.
We've gone back twice this year and just booked again between Christmas and New Years.....just can't get enough it. HEAVEN!

Great episode and it's the closest they have gotten so far to The Estate, well actually right on the edge of the beach wall. Sure was hoping to catch a shot of the slab though...........
